Shop around for another credit card with a lower interest rate, but
don't apply for the card just yet. Check http://www.bankrate.com or have
your brother do it. Then call prospective credit cards and explain just
what you explained here (not your mental state though) and see what they
say. Once you find a credit card with a lower interest rate, tell your
bother to call WF and tell them to either lower your rate to at least
14% or you will transfer the entire balance to a credit card with a
lower rate and tell them which card you have in mind. The point is that
you (or your brother) needs to negotiate from a point of strength.

Good luck.

If you don't like what they offer, why not go somewhere else?
Vote with your feet. There are lots of chicken places out
there. In Miami, there is one on every block. There has
to be some other choices where you live. Here are some clips
from a review site:

Church's Chicken:
Pricing is one area where Churchs makes the grade. Its prices are lower
than most other chicken restaurants. Its very common, where I live, to
see special deals like $2.49 for a two- piece chicken meal with two side
dishes. Even the large, family- size meals are good deals. You can pick
up an eight- piece meal, with large portions of side dishes, for about
$7.99. Not a bad price to feed a family of four.

Popeyes Chicken:
Expect to pay $5 to $6 for lunch or dinner with a beverage. Very
reasonable, and fairly comparable with other chicken chains.

We have a lot of Boston Market's in my area, and they have
2-item chicken meals for $4.99 and $5.99.

There is also Kentucky Fried Chicken, Browns Chicken, Chick
Fil A, and a now days, just about every super market has
a deli counter that has fried chicken meals.

All I can say is that you seemed to go out of the way to find
some off the wall place, and then rather than leave, you want
to whine about it. That isn't a very mature way to act.

The problem has arisen that one or two chains have taken over the
markets. Now they charge whatever the traffic will bear and slowly
increase what they charge just like Globalist George's buddies Big Oil.
Competition is disappearing. There is maybe one independent restaurant
left in our town. I haven't found it though.

Don't forget (since it's obligatory to mention them here in m.c.f-l
at least one a week) Wal*Mart. At least around here (Texas), they
have fried chicken as well.

Heck, even some gas stations and convenience stores serve fried chicken.

I had my phone service on autopay. Didn't worry about it. Didn't
bother to open the envelopes from this strange phone company I never
heard of.

Then one day my phone went dead.

As it turned out my phone company had discontinued service in this
area and transferred my account to the strange company. They did not
pick up the autopay.

I guess the point is not that auto pay is bad, it's not, but you
still need to know what's going on! And it's not always best to go with
the cheapest deal.

But you don't mind getting your own piss on you from urnal splashback when
you pee.

Maybe you should stand back a little further, adjust your aim, or use the
toilet.

Most houses have two or more bathrooms complete with a toilet. I
think it will be a darn good idea if some industrial designer comes up
with a home friendly stand-up urinal for men, one that won't freak
out the wimmen. Mark the door with the usual men's room. sign. It
will darn sure save a lot of flush water plus solve that spatter
problem.

I think most women would prefer a bidet over a urinal. I don't see
any reason why normal urinal designs can't be used in a home setting.
The only reason they are not is because most houses are built to the
minimum requirements on the cheap.

A newer LCD computer monitor is superior for TV use but it usually
costs more because of its higher resolution.

The older LCD monitors had slower pixel switching times which would
cause blurring of moving images but pixel switching times have been
improved because of the demands of those playing computer games.
