I don't have any that are enclosed, but almost all of mine are
upside down also. Oddly, I had just had the first CFL burnout in many
years and it was one of the few that was right side up.

With that said, most CFLs should not be used in "Heat hell holes"
such as recessed fixtures.

Perhaps you should adopt them and take them home. Not only would they
give you something to do besides sit in your single wide tapping on a
P.C all daybut would provide you with your badly needed companionship
and sex partner.

The was a lawsuit by a homeowner against restrictions. Based on
energy conservation the EPA made restrictions against clothlines
illegal.

Some things like my bed sheets dry in an hour or two. Bath towels
take several hours even under full sun.

Not if you're not going to be home to whip them off the line in time.

How about being selective, and just hang the things which a dryer
won't 'enhance', like dishcloths.

Tee shirts? I want 'em outta the DRY-er.

Some things should never go in a dryer - consider a tension rod over
the bathtub where these items can drip dry.

Here in the central valley of the West Coast in the USA where
temperatures reach 90+ degrees by 11AM (and very low humidity), I seem
to recall about 2-4 hours drying time for a basic T-shirt. Jeans
would take a bit longer. And I'm sure it would also depend on how
well your washer "wrings" out the clothes.

I've contacted them numberous times, and the office manager doesn't have a
problem with packages being left in the middle of the driveway. I've just
stopped using suppliers who ship with FedEx ground, so the problem has
pretty much resolved. My UPS guy, however is great! Brings the stuff to the
back door and has even offered to muscle some of the larger items into the
office for me.

FDA warns against eating lobster liver

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The government warned consumers Monday not to eat
the soft, green substance found in the body cavity of lobsters, saying
it may be contaminated with a toxin.

It's still OK to eat the white lobster meat found in the claws and
tails of the undersea delicacy, but the green stuff that most diners
already avoid should definitely be discarded this year, said the Food
and Drug Administration. Known also as tomalley, the substance acts as
the liver and pancreas of the lobster.

A red tide -- or algae bloom -- ranging from Northern New England to
Canada this year has contaminated fishing grounds with high levels of
toxins that cause paralytic shellfish poisoning. The federal warning
follows similar advisories from public health authorities in Maine,
Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Canada.

The warning applies to American lobster, also known as Maine lobster,
which is harvested in Atlantic waters from Canada to South Carolina.

Cooking does not eliminate the toxins, but studies have shown that
even when high levels are present in the tomalley, lobster meat is
usually not affected, the FDA said.

Symptoms of paralytic shell fish poisoning usually appear within two
hours of exposure. They include tingling and numbness of the mouth,
face or neck, muscle weakness, headache and nausea. Anyone who suffers
such symptoms should see a doctor, the FDA said. In rare cases, people
who consume a large amount of toxin can suffer respiratory failure and
death.

Eating lobster without eating the tomalley is like kissing your sister.

Funny thing is, I never would have thought about this before. I go to

for about 25-.99c. I made my own recyclable ink kit and I Just take
the ink from the cartridge and put in my cartridges. Recycled
cartridges for my printer cost 10.00 or 15.00 ea brand new, I need
four. Works like A charm and I save a bundle. At first it was so
messy, but then I got the hang of it. If I can find a few cheap on
ebay, I snatch them up. Care to share anymore money saving tips!

Many are familiar with the work of the Dollar Stretcher and the Tightwad
Gazette, but not my work =3F =3FCheapo Groovo=3F. I believe their work is
groundbreaking stuff. I=3Fm trying to take what they have done to the next
level.

Here are the ways I have tried to improve on their work and all the
other =3Fmoney=3F blogs:

1. Income and investing posts as well as frugal posts
2. Focusing on universal money saving ideas, no matter your life
stage
3. Easy to read posts that can be read and absorbed in seconds
4. Multimedia presentations =3F audio, video, photos
5. Eliminate information overload =3F no more than 20 new posts per
month
6. An actual M.B.A. is behind the posts not a =3Fwant to be=3F

Please understand that I=3Fm not saying to ignore discussion boards or
other web sites. Other folks do a much better job at recipes, raising
kids cheaply, or how to change your psychological makeup so you become a
frugal zealot.

Cons? There are no cons to owning a separate freezer.
