Also - where I am, major improvements can have taxes on them defered for 3
years, IIRC.

It is unlikely the assessor will show up before the work is done in two
weeks.

The assessed value is generally supposed to be a best estimate of the
market value of a property. I would take the purchase agreement to the
county and say look I paid $60,000 so that is the current market value of
the property. I was able to get my assessed value reduced by $30,000 when
I bought my house 10 years as the purchase price was less than the
assessed value.

Now, some areas don't go by market value and do things like use the square
footage or count the number of bedrooms and bathrooms.

I don't think that's going to get you anywhere, according to this guy.
If you pay off your card each month, then you don't pay any interest.
And if you don't PAY interest, how can you SAVE on paying LESS
interest? Get it?

NOT Obama, Obama gets to be Obama Claus, while we the people get to pay.

Might mean something today if the Republican party took actions
against the mass of job takers from south of the border.

Tom Tancredo is about the only one that seeks illegal immigration as
an issue and he is about worthless in the area.

The masses of tea parties, they are seeking the wrong avenues atacking
Obama for anything and everything. They should all be bitching about
American jobs being taken by illegals to the Republican party.

Complain to the owner of the street if the lights are truly blinding you.
The fixtures probably aren't designed properly and are creating glare.

I hate the amount of electricity wasted on lighting in America. Car
dealers have their lights blazing like a baseball stadium all night, but
they say they will be robbed without the lights. I highly doubt crime
would go up if only 1/3 or 1/2 of the lights are turned on after the
dealer closes.

It says at the SafeLink website: "SafeLink Wireless applies the Universal
Service Fund subsidy to an allotment of free airtime minutes."

We are forced by the US Government to pay into the USF, so it is a tax. Your
free is paid for by our forced tax.
