Too bad that song is so lame.

Can the revolution have some better music, please?

The video appeared to me to be a good one for "the cause", and I found
the music to be reasonably-fitting and "reasonably agreeable".

The last part I said about the music is where I mean that more exciting
music is enjoyed by a smaller percentage of the video's viewers. I have
my idea as to what is good "speedy hyper happy bicycle-messenger music" -
and that music genre even got a name! Namely, that's Hi-NRG.

Sadly, a fair percentage of people, especially in Western Hemisphere,
think that one is only supposed to enjoy Hi-NRG if being a gay man.

Should the music in that video have been Hi-NRG? Or even "rock-like"
Hi-NRG along lines of "I Was Made For Loving You" by Kiss or 4
significant songs by ZZTOP? And one of those ZZTOP songs even came out on
a 12 inch vinyl "single" that said "disco" in one area of its jacket?

Or better still, should the music have been something more obscure than
the usual Hi-NRG by deviating from the "usual Hi-NRG" by lacking of
romantic/sexual theme that most disco/Hi-NRG songs have? Maybe something
closer to Golden Earring's "Twilight Zone"? (a Hi-NRG-ish rock song that
I suspect to have had influence unto my favorite Hi-NRG song, and that one
is "in-more-original-form" almost as rock-like as "I Was Made For Loving
You" by Kiss.

Yes, it surprises most when they hear about it.

But it that had changed, there would have been lots of howling about that change.

Yes, but particularly in a group like msfl, its something most of us do.

Not always tho, I personally built my own house from scratch myself,
and chose to fund it entirely with borrowed money, basically because
I was earning a better rate on the money I had in the stock market
than I was paying for borrowed money in the very early 70s and
was interested to see if it could be done. So I started using a credit
card to buy the first of the materials, and then got a loan on the
partially built house for the next lot of materials etc and did it that
way. The land came from the govt in a no deposit land purchase
scheme. I never did pay off the land early, because the interest
rate charged was so derisory, and I could earn a lot better than
that on it in the stock market so continued to do that after the
house was finished.

There was an even better one around, but its no longer on the web and
I was silly enough to not save it on my system while it was still available.

Not surprising given that the unemployment rate is about 10% and
about 20% would like a full time job and dont currently have one.

Even if they are all behind, and not all of them are, that still leaves a majority doing fine repayment wise.

In the case of BP, thats mostly because they do more
exploration in the Gulf etc than other companys too.

See above.

They also couldnt afford to dominate exploration either.

Thats compensated by the massive cash flow thru the recovery and cleanup operations.

I bet that doesnt happen much except to those involved in the fishing industry.

And I bet that effect doesnt last long, just like it didnt with the Exxon Valdiz either.

> now the oil is collecting in the gulf, what happens when a hurricane

Nothing much. Once the well is capped, and that will happen
sometime, once it gets onto the beaches, it doesnt move
from there without human intervention, even with a hurricane.

> I believe this leak will push our economy not just back into recession but depression.

Bet it doesnt. In fact all the resources in the cleanup operation could
well provide a lot more employment than the fishing industry did.

> imagine wiping out tourism and so much more in not only
> the gulf and florida but all the way up the east coast:(

That wont happen, just like it didnt with the Exxon Valdiz either.

And it cant spread all the way up the east coast either.

> BP isnt big enough to cover the colateral damage they will go bankrupt.

Depends on their insurance. It may well be one hell of a problem for the insurance industry.

FWIW, gmail does a fine job of eliminating spam. Only a few (a couple a week,
maybe) ever get through.

Maybe Dennis (evil) got religion. I hear it's going around...
