Peanut oil is the rarest oil in grocery stores in my area -- is this
why? But the price runs 2/3-3/4 the cost of standard EVOO (not from
olive oil boutiques). And it has a strong flavor of its own.
Stretching EVOO with a neutral-tasting, cheap oil like canola would
make more sense.

No, but I know a fair few cyclists who aren't bothered about how fast
they cycle.
I haven't been out with them myself yet, but there is a group in Bath
which organise rides called "Recycle Your Sundays". These rides are
reputed to be very slow, stopping wherever there is anything interesting
- the complete antithesis of the 'club run'.

A mulching blade produces grass that doesnt need to be collected,
it can be left on the cut grass to mulch into the cut grass.
