Dinosaur is a metaphor for Supersized Unnecessary Vehicles, of course.
I see the need for some of them, but I also see the "arms race"
unleashed by them.

These Republicans don't believe in science and Climate Change. Hey, I
want you to do a simple test in your lab. Place a Republican in his

She tried. She says she was put on hold for hours.

I'll tell her to do a search of the EDD web site.

Thanks

Look at how Leslie Nielsen saved this embarrassing situation...

"You are not going to ask me to leave, are you?"

(this is serious!)

***

This "thing" is the best weapon out there to show our true animal
instincts. Of course, violence could be worse, so we are not going to
turn to something like that.

I'm launching a t-shirt that will just revolutionize the world of
perfumes and sophisticated smells. The French may hate me for this,
but hey c' la vie!

***World Premiere!***

This is simple enough: The Christians have their praying; we've got
the ultimate animal weapon.

"Hey Leslie, wherever you are, thanks for relieving us of boredom and
suffering!"

(boredom and suffering are the Christian way)

TM is a poor crazy bastard who just posts on his one favorite subject -
hatred of motor vehicles because they interfere with his use of the roads.
His other favorite subject is attacking Christianity. If you respond to this
poor crazy bastard, then you are a poor crazy bastard too.

He likes to reference monkeys and other wild animals normally found only in
zoos because he is most likely a wild beast himself. I think he fornicates
with monkeys, but I can't prove it.

TM should confine himself to just one thread instead of proliferating them
like a poor crazy bastard. He is insane of course. I liken him to the
village idiot of olden times. The difference these days is that no one any
longer recognizes the village idiot because idiocy has become so widespread.

But I will be here to remind one and all of what a poor crazy bastard TM is.
It is a mark of My Greatness that I can still recognize the village idiot
even if the rest of you can't.

Be sure to do it for a good cause like the end of war or religion,
even if it's wishful thinking.

The following article is by a columnist who very much disagrees!

http://www.kansascity.com/2010/11/30/2483758/living-with-children.html

Only thing I wonder about is, why has the columnist, in past years,
made it sound as though kids are entitled to a no-strings allowance?
After all, if it's OK for poor parents to tell their kids they have to
work for all their money (AND do unpaid chores, I assume) why isn't it
OK for richer parents to do that?

Lenona.

Utter nonsense. I think kids who get an allowance and/or gifts from
their parents without doing something to earn their allowance and gifts
become spoiled brats.

I do not have kids, but I am a god parent of four young kids. My
11-year-old god daughter and I have a deal. She is terrible at math, so
for her birthday, I told her I would buy her a new iPod touch if she
pulls up her math grade to a B+ by the time her birthday, which is in
three weeks. She hemmed and hawed with me about that, but at the end of
the day, her math grade is now a B+. If she keeps it up for another
three weeks, she will be getting an iPod touch from me. If her math
grade sinks below a B+, I will still buy her a birthday gift, but it
will not be anything elaborate.
