Read the articles of impeachment. Clinton was impeached for perjury
regarding his testimony about sexual matters-- other peoples' sexual

other religion spouting some stupidly cow-like inflexible fundamentalist
fanatical base all look increasingly like a foul bunch of psychos, scam
artists, boobs and hicks, Mormons included. That they would think
*anyone* outside of their circle shares their "values"-- however
"traditional"-- is symptomatic of their delusion.

But that's the nature of rightist religion, isn't it? It has no choice
but to devalue *everything* that doesn't fit its scheme, including
purple dinosaurs and blue Smurfs, for God's sake. Then it cries
piteously when its own shortcomings become all too conspicuous. Well,
unfortunately, Christians were all too successful in helping their
choice of President devalue what America had come to stand for: such
things as individual freedom, equality, justice, and the rule of law.
They helped Republicans devalue the very foundation their own
oh-so-precious freedom was built upon-- the Constitution. Too busy
destroying it to notice what was taking its place. Too preoccupied to
wonder how their success could damage or even destroy them. Get set, I
think that kind of change is coming quick. If that happens, most
churches deserve the same kind of sympathy and consideration they handed
out to others over the past eight years. Personally, I hope they get it.

Living in a metro city in USA. I haven't done any detailed
calculations. Based on my family's annual expenses, I think we spend
about $50 a day per person in the family. That is definitely not how
little we can live on.

answer is $73. Largest part was housing and utilities at $29.
Car insure, gas, maintain $7. Charity and gifts $7.

For my household of 5, excluding retirement savings about 100. When I
was laid off, about 60 - without selling the house etc.

absolutely No accidents at this left turn in Grand Rapids, Mi.

location: downtown Grand Rapids; northbound Monroe St @ Fulton.

after cross traffic gets the red light and the intersection is
clear, the thru lane signals to the right get the red light; on the
left turn signal the solid left turn green arrow comes on for 7
seconds; then the left turn solid yellow comes on for 4 seconds. Then
a solid red blinking light comes on. At the time that red blinking
light comes on, the thru lanes to the right get the solid green light.
(The solid red blinking light is well understood to mean that
oncomming traffic has the thru right-of-way)

There have been NO traffic accidents due to left turn confusion since
this signal sequence was first installed.

Compare the above to 43 SERIOUS INJURY accidents at this Florida left
turn:

location: US 301 and 41 (southbound) combines for a left turn 200
yards west of the Walmart in Palmetto, Florida (near Tampa)

why all the accidents?

After the yellow left turn arrow there is NO red light ! A green
light comes on after the yellow arrow! Many motorists who are new to
this intersection (many out of state) assume that the green light
means you have the right-of-way to turn left.

Motorists from out of state are CONDITIONED to expect a red light
after a yellow light or yellow arrow.

This is a perfect example of the lack of uniformity in left turn
traffic signaling around the country. There is no excuse for this.

The people responsible for installing and maintaining this
incomplete,
injury and death-dealing signal in Florida are:
