Not so much when others are forced to pay your way.

Everybody lies. George W. Bush and Dick Cheney just suck at it.

You mean like this G.W. Bush quote from 2005? "See, in my line of
work you got to keep repeating things over and over and over again for
the truth to sink in, to kind of catapult the propaganda."

Why not have an accident that causes a major disability? That way
you'll collect a bigger check and won't have the automatic "stigma" of
welfare. Or you could just get one of those cardboard signs that says
"homeless/hungry" and stake your claim on a busy high-end neighborhood
intersection. From what I've seen in various news stories some of
those guys take in hundreds a day. Most goes into their arm of
course.

Over time, the bearings in fans can wear (particularly cheaper sleeve
bearings) this is a noise different than the sound of air rushing.

Aside from steps to reduce noise at the source, like the fan speed
control, or possibly ducting, sound transmission is effected by density.
Lite barriers have little effect compared to heavier ones.

It's an overclocked computer, and maybe the builder didn't consider
noise. In that case, easy improvements may be possible.

Fan design can have a big effect on noise. I had a computer that came
with an 80mm, 25cfm intake fan that produced 40dBA. Some owners made
their computers much quieter by replacing this fan with an 80mm Sanyo
fan rated at 23cfm and only 20dBA. That's like somebody whispering five
feet away.

The fan cost $10 or so. Installation was merely a matter of unscrewing
the cover from the computer and releasing some plastic catches.

Another computer had a cover that picked up vibrations from the hard
disk. I quieted that by jamming some spongy material between the frame
and the cover to dampen vibrations.

Clayton, the largest manufacturer of manufactured homes in the U.S.,
has introduced the first green manufactured home by a major
manufacturer in the U.S. They haven't priced it, but hopefully it will
be more affordable than green prefabs and designs by others in the
past.

The "i-house" is a modernist design which features bamboo floors,
point-of-use hot water, solar panel option, a roof designed for water
catchment, and a unique separate, detached second bedroom/bath unit.

The "i-house" was introduced at their show in Knoxville, TN, at the
end of Oct. 2008.

I am going to be blogging this house (link above), following articles
and developments in Clayton's entrance into "green" building. I'm not
connected to the company in any way.

I ask the question, will it be Clayton's Prius, or Edsel?

If you are interested in this sort of thing, please visit my blog page
and comment on what you think of their rad design.

Thank you.

David Bennert, co-founder of Innova Homes.

David Bennert is co-founder of Innova Homes, a small building company in
Asheville, N.C., that builds about six homes a year. His style: modular.
His reasons: speed of construction, pricing and quality control. But he
has a new specialty: being green.

Modular homes are built in a factory and shipped to the job site, where
they are fastened to the foundation and each other. A project might take
only a few months, making cash flow more manageable and reducing financing
costs. A simple home made from two modular pieces can be done in 30-45
days and a Cape Cod in 45-90, Bennert notes, adding that because the
factory work is completed at a fixed price, there's less room for budget
errors.

"The homes are also better-sealed and less prone to mold since they're
constructed in a dry environment with well-stored and well-maintained
materials," says Bennert. They generate less construction waste, too.

Lol, last time that happened here, moving van drew up nex door, I rang the
home and she answered that everything was okay. When he came home, she
and a bit of stuff had vanished. Shrug.

But yes, we do wach a little bit of what is happening in the street and
do at east have a little idea of who is moving or selling.

Use a stick/screwdriver or similar item and a rock to drive the cork
into the bottle. Much faster, then you have to finish the bottle...

Onesuite has a voip service with or without an incoming phone number.
If you will just use the voip service for outgoing calls then you
don't need to sign up for their SuiteAdvantage feature but if you need
a virtual phone number then it will cost you $2.95 a month.

Check the difference here
http://www.onesuite.com/access_VOIP.asp
http://www.onesuite.com/products_Broadband_Main.asp

So a Onesuite to Onesuite call is always free. It's either you use it
on softphone (SJ phones and X-lite are the 2 most popular free
softphones) or set it up on an ATA device so that you can use it even
without turning your PC on.

I agree that Onesuite's prepaid phone card service is cheaper than
Skype on overseas calls and Onesuite voip rates are even cheaper in
some countries.
