If someone has enough money in the bank to cover damages in accidents,
is it possible to not pay car insurance? If so, how would I go about
doing so, and proving this fact if I got pulled over?

That would depend on your local laws. You need to consult with
someone in your particular country or state/province.

But offhand, I'd guess that very few people have enough money in the
bank to cover, say, a handful of serious injuries or deaths. Those
who do have that much money probably don't hang out on m.c.f-l

In NY you are required to have insurance. You cannot "self-insure" in NY. I
don't know about other states. It's worth the $500 a year just for peace of
mind, even though I've only had one accident in 35 years of driving and it
wasn't my fault (I was rear-ended while stopped at a red light).

That may be true in NY, I'm not sure. In some states, you can post bond
instead of buying insurance. Basically, you give the state half a mill to
hold for you incase there is a claim against you. I don't know anybody that
rich. If there WAS somebody that rich, they'd probably buy car insurance
anyway. The reasoning is simple. How much interest would they be losing
out on if they wasted a half mill on bond? Cheaper in the long run just to
buy insurance, considering all the interest you'd lose on the bond
oney. -Dave

In Ontario and as far I know the other provinces, you must carry a
minimum amount ($500,000) of liability insurance. You can of course
not insure your car against collision theft etc., and when I had cars
worth less than $5000 I did just that.

Some states have the option of posting a bond in lieu of insurance. Check
with your state DMV.

I keep the upstairs turned down all the way (about 45-50) at all
times. I set the downstairs to 55F during the day and turn it all the
way down at 9pm. I work at home, so I wear many layers to keep warm.
My nose and my fingers are the only parts that are always cold.

Since 1921, the house of Gucci has been at the forefront of fashion.
Founded by Guccio Gucci, the Italian fashion and leather goods label
quickly built a reputation for exceptionally fine craftmanship. The
iconic GG logo (the initials of its founder) has found its way into
many of Gucci's fashion products as part of the overall design. Today,
Gucci manufactures handbags, luggage, shoes, jewelry, sunglasses,
wallets, belts, scarves, ties, hats, writing instruments, and of
course, the most fashionable of timepieces.

Information of Rolex Replica Watches series

Rolex is considered to be one of the most prolific Swiss wristwatch
manufacturing companies in the world. With their sheer elegance and
uncompromising attention to detail, Rolex is the largest luxury watch brand
worldwide, producing around 200 watches per day. Since its inception in
1905, Rolex has exuded an aura of unsurpassed urbanity. Unveiled in 1945,
the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust was the first wristwatch to display the
date and boast a Cyclops magnifying lens. Similarly, the Rolex Oyster
Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona, introduced 1988, is designed for measuring
elapsed time and calculating average speed with artistic precision. Rolex,
an eclectic company, had the maritime adventurer in mind when it created the
Oyster Perpetual Submariner with water resistance at depths of 300 meters.
All Rolex watches, whether the Rolex Air-King, Rolex Pearlmaster, Rolex
Explorer, Rolex Day-Date, Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss, Rolex GMT-Master
II, Rolex Yacht-Master, Rolex Oyster Perpetual or Rolex Sea-Dweller, are
exceptional investments. The Rolex watch is a pathway to a timeless
tradition.

The brief Obama honeymoon is over. Obama offers the same odious ideas
as
put forth by Pelosi and Sen. Reid.

What did anybody expect. Obama was educated at the same schools as the
Kennedys and did his internship under Belogovich (sp) & Co.. We have the
finest politicians that money can buy and the Catholic Church pays better
than US workers. One newsman quipped "For that much money they could have
handed every man, woman and child in the US $2700. They handed it to other
politicians instead." We otta be used to it .....

All the bailouts... and the stimulii...all the hot air....the debt...
the debt servicing... they DON"T MATTER

In the long run it all comes down to loss of US productivity.. the
loss of US created wealth.
Unless the US can rebuild its manufacturing capability it will be a
long slide into a third world level of subsistence.

Generating paper has never saved a country from its expoitators.

The only solution is to withdarw from the WTO and allow US workers -
and only US workers - the ability to make this country into a
powerhouse again

This morning I was reading Sen. Leathy's comments supporting
immigration "reform". The old degenerate wants more immigrants!

Ummm, worker productivity has been at an all time high for quite
some time, and has been surging ahead over the past few months.
There is no issue with productivity.

Ummm, the US is at an all time high for manufacturing at the moment.
We manufacture far more than we did in 15 years ago. That is now
an issue right now.

That sounds like the old burry you head in the sand and hope it
goes away theory. Good luck with that.

Some economists predicted that the stock market would crash every
year since I started paying attention to it in 1978. Other
economists predicted the dow to be at 36,000. Some people are
predicting that the world will end in 2012 when the Mayan calendar
ends. Other people predict the rapture every year. All of those
predictions are foo-foo, and not worth the paper that they are
written on. Anyone who believes such nonsense needs to have their
head examined. If you are one of those, please have a cat scan
scheduled as soon as you can.
