I needed glasses to pass from 1963 through 1978. I haven't needed
glasses since. But next renewal, I might again. It's nothing to do
with diet, just that my eyes are getting older.

Nearsighted people become less nearsighted with age. Unfortunately, farsighted
people just get worse. And don't get me started about astigmatism...

The rate is $0.002 not 0.002¢. They state the rate wrong.

No, they state the rate correctely, as 0.002¢. Then they go on to figure
his bill, based on the incorrect rate of $0.002. -Dave

BS with capital B and S..
Illegals cannot have paid into the SS and Medicare systems... because
*THEY DO NOT HAVE VALID SS NUMBERS*.
Verstandenzee?

They be ILLEGALS...
Get it?
Globalist is a liar.

Now, if you have a moment... tell me why you want to flood the US with
illegal immigrants to steal US jobs and to suck down US taxpayer
money..
As well as to bankrupt US hospitals.
There must be some reason why you would want this.
Are you canadian, russkie, or what?

My local McDonald's has started doing the same shit as Jack-in-the-Box asking you if you want a large (they
don't call is super sizing anymore) and the clerk can not tell you what the price difference is. At
Jack-in-the-box they can't even tell you what the size of the one on the menu is and then they try to sell you
curly fries etc,. I hate that. I just want to go in and say I want a number 4 and get the price listed on
the overhead menu.

Most things that have stitches in them that are at Wal-mart seem to fall apart really fast. Some of the
clothes included but I am mostly talking about things like duffel bags and backpacks. It is far cheaper in
the long run to go to Big 5 and get a good quality school backpack on sale that you can use for years. I have
a duffel bag that is over 20 years old and has never needed a repair while the one I bought at Wal-mart needed
to be stitched up after the second time I used it. I always try to repair stuff but my stitching is not the
prettiest.

What about the orange solidified square oil that they call cheese and try to get you to pay more for?

I've seen cases where the combo "special" actually cost more (granted,
just a few cents) than the individual items.

Along that line, I often times buy individual items vs. the combo
because I really don't want / need that half gallon of flavored sugar
water when a $1 cup will do just fine (especially when they provided
do-it-yourself refills).

Some people like that imitation cheese product, however when I order a
McDouble, I always ask them to hold the "cheese".

At first, I was a bit intimidated to undo the cheese, but in reality, it
dawned on me that that I'm saving them money vs. me peeling it off & I
tossing it.

When I take my kids there I tend to buy one combo for me and a bunch of hamburgers off the $1.00 menu for the
kids. We all share the one drink from the combo meal since it comes with unlimited re-fills.

Not that I have any liking for Wal-Mart at all, but they aren't the only
ones doing this BS. I have seen some supermarkets do that, and I think
that practice is a little common.

Store raises price of something for a short period of time, then
partially lowers the price to one that is still higher than its everyday
price was before the previous week, and slaps on a sign saying "New Lower
Price".

Other BS that I see in supermarkets, some by the supermarkets, more by
the product manufacturers:

* Laundry detergents change what their labels say as in terms of how
ultra-concentrated it is. Price per load of laundry goes up.

* Bleach seems to come in different oddball concentrations and different
bottle sizes every few or every couple years. Price per gram of sodium
hypochlorite in the bleach keeps going up.

* Once I saw a supermarket give unit prices of Brand A dish detergent in
cents per ounce and Brand B of dish detergent in cents per quart.

* Container sizes for many products change every few years or couple
years it seems to me - usually changing to slightly smaller, occaisionally
to noticeably smaller than before.

Like the half gallon of ice cream that was 1.75 quarts, and now 1.5 quarts.
When it shrinks to 8 ounces or so, you think anybody will finally notice
that it's not a half gallon? What will the ice cream producers do then?
Come out with a new "family" size of oh I don't know....say, 1/2
gallon???? -Dave

It is funny! I kept referring to the stuff I was using as "enzyme". A
few minutes ago I looked at the manufacturer , brand, etc.

It turns out what I got from the local Home Depot *was* Zep!

I did not pay attention to other similar products at Home Depot. The
one I got says:
ZEP Commercial
Drain Care
Professional Strength.

Are there different types of ZEP?
