Hang in there Harry. I have sympathy for what you are going through. God, I
simply hate insurance companies. The chief honcho of these outfits is always
a bastard.

There is something quite crooked about our capitalist system of economy.
Unless you have money and influence, you are more often screwed than not. No
wonder we have so many lawyers. Just keep plugging away and hope for the
best. The law grinds exceeding fine when all is said and done and you may
yet receive some justice.

Nope. In fact, I am in favor of legalizing MJ. It is no worse than alcohol
or tobacco. But I stop at MJ. Other drugs are way too dangerous to the
health of society.

And the only protection the non-rich have is a government that supports
their interests, which is why the right-wing in the US has worked (and
mostly succeeded) in destroying that in the US.

Thats just plain wrong. Virtually all illegal drug users who are on welfare resort
to crime, because no one pays enough welfare to support an illegal drug habit.

Depends on the country. Some are so parsimonious with
welfare that its nothing like most that go for the welfare.

Those using illegal drugs clearly arent.

Another pig ignorant lie. It does a hell of a lot better than
barely if you have a substantial number of kids here.

> That is OK with me.

You have always been, and always will be, completely and utterly irrelevant.

What might or might not be OK with you in spades.

> No one ever gets rich off of welfare. It is just subsistence.

Not here it aint if you have enough kids.

It isnt even just subsistence for many on the aged pension here either.

One pair I know have a very decent very large house, and TWO
'mobile homes' and a total of 5 computers between the two of them,
including two almost new laptops, and spent half the year in a
mobile home park getting pissed playing cards until his diabetes
put a stop to that. Thats nothing even remotely like subsistence.

And they arent alone either, most of the people I know are on
the aged pension and most of them zoom around the country
like that, and have as many computers as that. Its uncommon to
have two mobile homes tho, all the others just have one and they
all have very decent modern houses in addition to the mobile home.

> You and I would not like it at all.

You havent got a fucking clue what I would like.

I wouldnt mind it at all if for some reason I lost my very
substantial savings and had to live on just the aged pension.

I never ever said anything about killing anyone, you silly little pathological liar.

That last is a pig ignorant lie. We had civil peace before we paid any welfare at all.

We havent ever had a civil war, or entire city blocks put to the torch, EVER.

Yes they do.

> They just get by.

Another pig ignorant lie. You dont have a fucking clue
about the circumstances of those on welfare here.

I've just installed broadband and voip for some
turks who get welfare and they live very well
indeed. 5 cars, they are planning to have 10 of them
back to Turkey for 3 months in about a month.

ALL the older kids have laptops still in warranty.

The only one that doesnt is the most recent 2 year old.

Thats a hell of a lot better than just getting by.

> You and I would not be happy with
> such a reduced standard of living at all.

You have absolutely no idea what I would be happy with.

I dont spend anything like what the turks do on overseas travel.

>>> A small price to pay for civil peace.

>> We didnt see civil chaos before we had welfare in the first world.

> It was always a constant threat.

Only for pig ignorant fools. We have never ever had a civil
war or any entire city blocks put to the torch in this country
and havent even had any riots either, not even in the days
before we paid any welfare at all to anyone.

The most we have ever seen is one minor shit fight
when some miners didnt like the outrageous mining
taxes imposed on them during the gold rush.

> What is given to the poor is insurance for the rich.

Thanks for that completely superfluous proof that you have
never ever had a fucking clue about anything at all, ever.

The most that might happen is that they pull the plug on
the Euro and return to separate national currencys again.

Quite a few EU members havent chose to give up on their own currencys.

Its only communism thats ever failed.

Nope, fuck all of those in favor of socialism in western europe have
any interest whatever in communism and they have elected fuck all
communists and not one of them has ever had a communist govt.

>> Not one communist system started from socialism.

Quite a few of them did own some of the means of production.

Hardly any of them do anymore.

Hardly any of them even own the phone company anymore.

> They are welfare states, but the tendency is toward ever more and more socialism.

Another pig ignorant lie. Quite a few of the most socialist
countrys in western europe have actually seen less socialism
in recent times than they have had in the past, most obviously
with govt owned phone companys, car plants, coal mining etc etc etc.

> Hey, if you hate capitalism,

Pity I dont. It works very well indeed, particularly when the worst
excesses are illegal and there is a decent level of socialism with
public education, the cops, a decent health care funding system,
decent welfare for those who can not work or who cant find
work, or who are too old to work etc etc etc.

Thanks for that completely superfluous proof of what a terminal fuckwit you have always been.

That post you originally replied to had someone else spell out which country I am in, child.

Another pig ignorant lie.

Just check the map, stupid. There happens to be a
rather large stretch of water between north africa and
europe, and not one between mexico and the US, child.

And just how many of you are there between those ears anyway, child ?

RS has shit for brains and the knack of never saying anything the least bit
sensible. All he knows how to do is to call everyone a liar, ever the last
refuge of a coward and a scoundrel who is afraid of argument.

Is Roddie more on TM's side than ED's side?

Why did Roddie need take a side in a Usenet battle between TM and ED?
I somewhat regret now having posted in favor of 1 and not the other
of these 2 that hyave gained themselves some unpopularity...

In light of the maybe-15-plus-year-old apparently-largely-still-
current FAQ on the infamous R.S., I could actually decrease my
disfavor to E.D. That is because R.S. has (as I experience this) a
great history of apparently liking to irritate people, especially ones
who work for a living.
