Just call around and get estimates like any sensible person would.
That's the bottom line anyway. A news group can't be your personal
shopper in this case as you would like.
Taking off the old gutters is the easiest part of the work. The
advantage to you is that you can paint or repair the surface before
the new work. And I'd be shocked if you did not take all the removed
aluminum to the recycler for the salvage money. Of course you weighed
every scrap before taking it and checked around for the best per pound
price.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - Pakistan's parliamentary elections will he held
by mid-February, a month later than planned, the country's military
ruler said Thursday, a day after President Bush urged him to hold the
vote on time.

Opposition leader Benazir Bhutto denounced President Gen. Pervez
Musharraf's pledge as insufficient and said he should step down as
army chief within a week.

With anger over military rule spreading, the United States and
domestic opponents are stepping up pressure on Musharraf to end the
emergency rule imposed Saturday, shed his uniform and hold elections
as planned in January.

Bush, who counts Musharraf as a key ally in the war on terror,
telephoned him Wednesday to say he should step down as the military
chief and hold the vote on schedule.

And Bhutto, who had been in talks with Musharraf on forming a post-
election alliance, added to the pressure by deciding to join protests
against the emergency. Authorities reportedly arrested hundreds of her
supporters overnight to head off a major rally she is planning near
Islamabad on Friday.

News that elections would be held by mid-February was flashed on state-
run television, which quoted Musharraf as saying the vote would be
delayed by not more than one month. The government said earlier this
week that the vote could be delayed by as long as a year.

Musharraf's decision was announced after a meeting of his National
Security Council.

The announcement was seen as an indication that the emergency would be
short-lived because authorities would likely have to ease up on
security restrictions to allow campaigning.

Attorney General Malik Mohammed Qayyum forecast that the state of
emergency would be lifted in "one or two" months.

"It depends on how the law and order situation improves," Qayyum told
The Associated Press.

Musharraf maintains that restoring democracy is his ultimate aim and
the emergency was needed to prevent political instability, protect
economic growth, and maintain the campaign against extremism and
terrorism.

Pakistan, a country of 160 million, has been wracked by Taliban and al-
Qaida-linked violence, including suicide bombings and clashes in its
troubled northwest, where the insurgents have in recent weeks scored a
series of victories against government forces.

Critics, however, say Musharraf, who seized power in a 1999 coup,
imposed the emergency measures - suspending the constitution, blacking
out independent TV news networks - to maintain his own grip on power.
The moves came ahead of a Supreme Court ruling on the legality of his
recent re-election as president.

Days of protests, most of them by lawyers angered by the attacks on
the judiciary, have been quickly and sometimes brutally put down.

Thursday was no different. In Islamabad, police chased about 20 high-
school students into the city's bar association headquarters after
they showed up in solidarity with dozens of protesting lawyers, who
were observing the fourth day of a nationwide strike.

In Lahore, in eastern Pakistan, more than 100 professors boycotted
classes and marched on the campus of the state-run University of the
Punjab.

Why not.

You can buy robotic vacuum cleaners that are self learning and do it for
you. The newer models can be set to clean on certain days and automatically
go back to the base station for recharging when they need to. The lazy
bastards do not do stairs though, you have to leave that to the wife.

That's right. Wertheimer's evidence was epidemological.

John Iovine is a fine man. He runs a shop on Long Island to supply

I don't see what the * refers to. Savitz was a leader in such studies,
but his own studies contradicted each other. In 1995 he said, "I hate
to give up on epidemiology outright, but I think that it needs to evolve."

I can't stand the UI of 7-zip myself. It's been a while since I tried it,
but I could get it to do simple things that were a breeze with WinZip or
IZArc for that matter. I think I wanted to freshen the files in a 7-zip
archive but couldn't see how to do it. I try it now and again but each time
I'm put off by its horrible UI.

Support for a format does not mean that it can create said format.
Merely that it can extract or read RAR files. I am going to guess by
the site's title that it cannot create RAR files.

"IZArc - The Ultimate Archive Utility - Free Zip, Unzip, Unrar, 7-
Zip, ISO, BIN, compress, archive"

Notice it says "Unrar" and then goes on to use two generic terms,
"compress" and "archive."

Not to mention all the posts on the forum that illustrate that
creating RAR archives is not possible, only the reading of, and the
few I found said that it didn't even read it correctly -- dated as
new as two weeks ago.

And I consider this a lie:

"RAR, ARC, ARJ, ACE, LZH and etc. are older formats that provide both
grouping and compression, like Zip files.

IZArc does not use external programs when working with these files."

Since it has unrar3.dll sitting there -- which is a DLL provided by
RAR Lab.

And if you are still not convinced for some reason, IZArc states as a
matter of fact that it's default archive types are: ZIP, CAB, BH,
BZ2, GZIP, JAR, LHA, 7-ZIP, BGA, TAR, and YZ1.

The final verdict... it can create a file with the extension *.rar,
but it is NOT a real RAR file in the sense that the headers are not
RAR headers, it uses ZIP compression, specifically PKZIP signatures,
and is equivalent to me making a generic ZIP file and renaming it
RAR. Hell, I could rename it TXT if I wanted and a generic ZIP
utility would still be able to open it as long as it had generic ZIP
headers.

Not to mention this is the first compression archiver I have ever
seen that makes a compressed archive that is larger than the original
file and doesn't even include a recovery record, CRC check, et
cetera.

So just to be clear... it cannot create RAR files -- unless you say
it can based on the fact it can name a file with a *.rar extension.

In Lahore, in eastern Pakistan, more than 100 professors boycotted
classes and marched on the campus of the state-run University of the
Punjab.

When I sent them that e-mail, they were difficult
with me, then I got an e-mail from them, saying that
they have canceled my account.

Now here it is a couple of months later, and they
sent me another billing, and charged my credit card.
So I went to the bank, and filled out a dispute form
to have it charged back.

GTC are crooks don't ever give them your credit card
number or they will use it and not give you any
service. GTC long distance is a scam.

www.gtctelecom.com is a crooked company.

All this, and yet I have never had any of their service.

TOPIC: More LIES From Dave Jensen

Again you repeat the same LIE that you've been
repeating for months, as shown in these examples:

Here are some more examples of your LIES:

From your 8/14/07 posting:

> However, as a Pharmaceutical industry chemist, you
> SHOULD know that "Head and Neck" is a peer reviewed
> medical journal, edited by the distinguished Ehab Y.
> Hanna, MD at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson
> Cancer Center in Houston.

[Note that I am not a "Pharmaceutical industry chemist",
nor have I ever been. This is just part of Dave's
smear campaign against me.]

From your 8/3/07 posting:

> Your post was from a third tier journal, read by only
> other Pharmaceutical Chemists such as yourself.

[Note that I am not a "Pharmaceutical Chemist",
nor have I ever been. This is how Dave responds
to legitimate criticism of his crap articles.
Attack the critic, not the criticism.]

From your 8/2/07 posting:

> For one, as a pharmaceutical chemist you have some
> concept of science, but you lack credibility because
> you are simply an anonymous made-up name.

[Here we see two lies: the allegation I am a
"pharmaceutical chemist" and the allegation that
I am posting under a name other than my own.
I do not. I really am Mark Thorson.]

You don't defend your articles, because you can't.
My criticism is always on-target and backed up
by peer-reviewed science. With your limited
familiarity with the scientific literature,
you're not in a position to respond in kind.

In frustration, you lash out with childish insults and
make up lying accusations. You've gotten no support
in these newsgroups with your lies, because nobody
wants to associate themselves with such an immature
individual. You seem to be unable to perceive how
people will see your behavior.
