It's similar to a program our local utility company has here where the
"eco-conscious" customers "pay" to have their electricity from "green"
resources (vs where you could sign up to get a discount by having them
shut off the AC during Peak Hours).

BTW the upfront cost was the reason I opted for a Yaris over a Prius
and also why I held on to my Festiva for 10 years. The Festiva paid
for itself over and over again and never had any "major" problems
(just standard brakes, oil changes, maintenance).

Unless they have a special "new" program in SF only, new Hybrid
owners can't drive in the car pool lanes; the state ran out of the
stickers you have to have affixed to the bumper. But I believe they
are transferrable..so if you happen upon one at a used
dealership...grab it ;)

Trouble with this line is that it raises the question of why the money
wasnt given to those she intended to receive it instead of the nephew.

One obvious possibility is that it was considered to be less likely to be noticed
by the tax authoritys if she did die before the 7 years that is needed to make it
legally bulletproof on avoiding the inheritance tax due otherwise.

My wife is a working cook (her management calls her a "chef" but she
calls herself a cook) and always gets a laugh when she see TV chefs
wearing kitchen-unsuitable "chef costumes."
Especially those with long and wide sleeves designed to pick up
everything they flap against.

Most obviously that its used multiple times a day in a commercial
operation and only weekly at most in a home situation. And a
commercial operation has minimum wage monkeys to wash them,
whereas many prefer the lowest cleaning effort for the home etc.

Specifically want to use it for spraying on the inside
of a shower stall to remove grime say once a week or
so.

Would citrus based cleaners be good match for this use?

Don't know if citrus based would be cheap since all food are getting
expensive.

Vinegar is good for cleaning windows and as a general antibiotic.
