That one appeared to me to just say no to sheep.

That one just apeared to me to depict a humorously $#!+-for-brains
Nazi.

What do these have to do with hunting one of the many specific groups
that Nazis and bonehead skinheads hunted down and victimized?

This is the introduction I gave it in another group:

"They may be hiding other shit going on in the jungle (lack of
universal healthcare or bike facilities, for example)."

The sheep are responsible for making homosexuality a campaign issue
and not bike facilities. They drive without thought, the kill by
accident, and we must wake them up and have them own their shit.

The last link is a skinhead, people who hate homos and really do carry
their hatred toward them one step further.

Thanks! We should use every path to stop the aggressor. We can stop
feeding those who most profit from war and who most destroy our
environment, or we can sit and see the human race follow the destiny
of Germany and Japan. By the way, they rectified their course, and
today enjoy a better standard of living than America.

I do include this comment here because it mentions bike riding and
hammock as the perfect complement...

The video appeared to me to be a good one for "the cause", and I found
the music to be reasonably-fitting and "reasonably agreeable".

The last part I said about the music is where I mean that more exciting
music is enjoyed by a smaller percentage of the video's viewers. I have
my idea as to what is good "speedy hyper happy bicycle-messenger music" -
and that music genre even got a name! Namely, that's Hi-NRG.

Sadly, a fair percentage of people, especially in Western Hemisphere,
think that one is only supposed to enjoy Hi-NRG if being a gay man.

Should the music in that video have been Hi-NRG? Or even "rock-like"
Hi-NRG along lines of "I Was Made For Loving You" by Kiss or 4
significant songs by ZZTOP? And one of those ZZTOP songs even came out on
a 12 inch vinyl "single" that said "disco" in one area of its jacket?

Or better still, should the music have been something more obscure than
the usual Hi-NRG by deviating from the "usual Hi-NRG" by lacking of
romantic/sexual theme that most disco/Hi-NRG songs have? Maybe something
closer to Golden Earring's "Twilight Zone"? (a Hi-NRG-ish rock song that
I suspect to have had influence unto my favorite Hi-NRG song, and that one
is "in-more-original-form" almost as rock-like as "I Was Made For Loving
You" by Kiss.

Wow, all the crap you mentioned is even worse than the song in the video?

If you're minister of music for the revolution, you should resign!

I't hard to beat Creedence (and imitators) for skiing.

Most of the music that accompanies youtube action movies is crap.

I do recall reading a while back that tuna is deficient in some
vitamin - E, I think - that is essential to the wellbeing of cats. The
occasional meal would be OK, though.

I don't think Jon was suggesting tuna as a meal *for* cats, rather as a
bait to catch cats for ingredients in meals!

I'm not gonna read the 230+ thread on this subject, but since I live
alone, I keep my hot water heater turned off up until 30 minutes
before I need to take a shower.

Also, I live in FL, and my pipes are in the attic.

During the summer, I don't even have to use the HW heater, because I
get hot water from the pipes being in the attic.

Doesnt matter if you plan to eat the cat soon after attracting it with the tuna, stupid.

Daughter fills the at-will auto-feeders (big plastic bottles up-ended into
dish-like things) with Kirkland cat food, which the dog eats too. Her oldest
cat lived to be 18, so it's gotta be doing something right. I was amazed that
the dachshund nibbles every once in a while just like the cats -- I had thought
that dogs gobbled every bit of available food.

The dog is a near vegetarian, although she likes cooked meat too. Had we not
shared our food with her (and she doesn't grab, she nibbles politely) she might
have believed that the food-god always made sure there was enough.

Probably not. They did a good job of padding the pockets of all politicians who
are involved with energy decisions. Especially those to whom they now must
answer. Care to guess the outcome of an investigation done by those who received
massive lobby money?

Expect the outcome to be much like the Exxon Valdez incident. A whole lot of PR
about how much they care, a little cleanup and then a complete walk away from
the incident, leaving those affected to deal with it. They are probably already
printing the checks and contracts for fisherman, who will take the present value
of money vs. the loss of their careers. Sad.

Think of Buddha sitting under a tree... His philosophy was much better
than that of Jesus' suffering, but he was sitting in that awkward
position. Enter the Wise Tibetan Monkey. He sets up a hammock hanging
from the trees and voila! The Banana Revolution!

http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/EnlargeProduct.asp?SKU=10525586&ZMPHT=380/189710525586P.JPG

Cool, laid back, back to nature, energy efficient... Have you noticed
that after RIDING A BIKE the hammock is the most efficient way to save
energy?

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiLDiGfxGZgHHhbWTxnGgwMLK6pED095zGBcRQj_r74s_x2n5YaMv0rNxLOu88vQDO-bZJi2YpP4b62aFUENJHPaCJe6PItTCL1sb5HV2yylqE_pQOWW_THSf8_bm9-xwcTGRYQbZkgeE/s400/Budha_Banana_BIG.jpg

Perhaps planting a banana tree you only have to reach out and, with
Epicurean delight, enjoy an organic banana. Nothing like "Chiquita,"
which is produced with cheap labor, and even pesticides and GMO's.

Think about and you may also find yourself in the REVOLUTION.

Yes, but particularly in a group like msfl, its something most of us do.

Not always tho, I personally built my own house from scratch myself,
and chose to fund it entirely with borrowed money, basically because
I was earning a better rate on the money I had in the stock market
than I was paying for borrowed money in the very early 70s and
was interested to see if it could be done. So I started using a credit
card to buy the first of the materials, and then got a loan on the
partially built house for the next lot of materials etc and did it that
way. The land came from the govt in a no deposit land purchase
scheme. I never did pay off the land early, because the interest
rate charged was so derisory, and I could earn a lot better than
that on it in the stock market so continued to do that after the
house was finished.

Not surprising given that the unemployment rate is about 10% and
about 20% would like a full time job and dont currently have one.

Even if they are all behind, and not all of them are, that still leaves a majority doing fine repayment wise.

I bet that doesnt happen much except to those involved in the fishing industry.

And I bet that effect doesnt last long, just like it didnt with the Exxon Valdiz either.

Nothing much. Once the well is capped, and that will happen
sometime, once it gets onto the beaches, it doesnt move
from there without human intervention, even with a hurricane.

> I believe this leak will push our economy not just back into recession but depression.

Bet it doesnt. In fact all the resources in the cleanup operation could
well provide a lot more employment than the fishing industry did.

> imagine wiping out tourism and so much more in not only
> the gulf and florida but all the way up the east coast:(

That wont happen, just like it didnt with the Exxon Valdiz either.

And it cant spread all the way up the east coast either.

Depends on their insurance. It may well be one hell of a problem for the insurance industry.

This "new" computer only handles SATA drives. Build date on it is '08.

No IDE, floppy, serial, or parallel ports. 1st one like that for me. Only one
PCI slot, too.

On the lookout for SATA drives now.

a large percentage of americans are currently behind on their mortage.
like 15 percent i forget the exact number,

just look at our country.

few save anything, live paycheck to paycheck, have big credit card
bills and no plans to pay them off.

the debts normal everybody has debt mentailty can get people in
serious grief.

overspending can lead tyo divorce, most divorces are over money.

well the divorce effect far more than the 2 people who decide to
split.

think of the kids and all the colateral damage that overspending
causes.

even those with perfect credit are paying for those who go bankrupt

feds need to put some realistic limits on companies gving credit.

a easy move...

if the credit card company gives anyone too much credit, the company
agrees in advance to a max interest rate say 10%

Nope. Take the same list, stick to it, pay with a rewards credit card, pay
the bill in full each month, and get hundreds of dollars back each year. I
get back about $750 a year in cash, not merchandise, by using my card for
every possible purchase, and I never pay the card company a cent. The real
trick is to never buy anything you don't actually need.

Thats not a large percentage, its a small percentage and
unsurprising given that 10% are unemployed and something
like 20% want a full time job and dont currently have one.

And some of that alleged 15% are taking advantage of
the stupid US non recourse system with mortgages too.

> just look at our country.

Thats a lie with the home ownership rate at an all time historic high.

Thats the main way they save.

In fact the majority pay off their credit cards in full every month.

Yes, very few can get a house any other way. Bet you didnt.

> can get people in serious grief.

And the majority dont, in fact pay off their cards in full every month.

So can fucking around.

Easy to claim. Pity you cant actually substantiate that claim.

> well the divorce effect far more than the 2 people who decide to split.

So does not divorcing when that makes sense too.

> think of the kids and all the colateral damage that overspending causes.

And plenty choose not to have kids at all.

> even those with perfect credit are paying for those who go bankrupt

Nope. I dont pay a cent in interest, so dont pay a cent for those who go bankrupt.

Not even possible.

Nope.

That would mean that the credit duds would be subsidised
by everyone else even more than they currently are.

The reason the credit duds are slugged a much higher rate is
because its them that produce the highest costs for the industry.

And I am all for people paying for their own rewards. If someone decides
to use cash there should be nothing barring the merchant from offering a

To clarify a bit, Frank is in the UK and was referring to the
recently-ousted British Labour party, who's spent the last
couple of decades destroying the British economy and turning
a free country into a near police state.

I did not realize Franks' perspective right away, leading to
some confusion.

My comment was in reference to Barack Obama, who is trying to
do the same to the United States. Regarding his spending:

Thanks, that's surprising. First reference is 10 years old, and I didn't
see a date on the second one, but that's not the picture commonly

yeah and 13% of all US mortages are at least a month behind in
payments, thats a all time historical high

No matter whether the revolution comes to power in Mexico (Jalapeno
Revolution) or any other third world Banana Republic which today
copies lifestyles from the West (SUVs and all), these are the general
conditions set out by the Comandante (me)...

a) Bicycles are vehicles, thereby they are entitled to taking the lane
--cars must clear the lane 30' before and after

b) Cyclists must wear bright vests or lycra suits in plain daylight.
Lights are mandatory at night --or be issued a ticket

c) When there's an accident between car and bike, the driver is to
blame until proven otherwise

d) No phones policy

e) Passing lane policy

f) Decency law... YOU CAN WEAR WHATEVER YOU FUCKING WANT!

BP is the massey energy of oil.....

BOTH companies had far higher than other accident and citation rates
than other companies.

BP near 800 major deficency citations Exxon mobile ONE sunocy 8.

BP like massey just paid the fines as a cost of doing business.

EASY SOLUTION:)

when any company gets higher than industry average fines / citations.

Fines double then triple then quadruple.

so comanies cant afford to be poor safety operators.

The other issue BP is on the hook to pay all clean up costs.

But what of the colateral damage all the fishermen, resturants bars
amusement parks hotels that depend on tourism to survive.

None of these people did anything wrong but will lkely go out of
business, unable to pay bills.

now the oil is collecting in the gulf, what happens when a hurricane
comes along and spreads the oil around florida and up the east coast

I believe this leak will push our economy not just back into recession
but depression.

imagine wiping out tourism and so much more in not only the gulf and
florida but all the way up the east coast:(

BP isnt big enough to cover the colateral damage they will go
bankrupt.

Tell your Jesus to fix the world instead of talking about the other
life.

I think he's a BULLSHITTER...

Derald also forgot that if he expects an answer to email he sends, he
needs to provide a valid email address.

Briefly, I'm following up to articles that have more than five newsgroups
in the original header, which is why your newsreader is dropping my posts.

Did you hear about the new saint, San Adreas? He's the patron saint of
blame, it's all his fault.

Ah; so. I suppose that I shall continue to miss the occasional gem,
then. By the time I notice again that I'm missing some of your posts, I
will have forgot. So it goes.
