I don't want anything that can fall over. |

On the other hand, some of them can work quite well. The furnace wasn't working, it was the weekend, and so I spent 20 or 30 dollars on a small heater, I forget the wattage. And so long as the door was closed, it could warm up that room quite nicely. It was lousy at heating up the house, but it could get the room to the point where it was reasonable. This was February, real cold outside. So yes, so long as you keep the door closed, it probably works out well if you stay in that room. You don't have to heat the whole place. Michael |

I work at home and get really cold hands. Had a heated mouse that didn't really work too well. |

Cheap for one-time use, but expensive for a whole season. Cut the fingertips off cheesy knit gloves. NOT the tiny ones, though -- the fingers pull back almost all the way :-( -- Cheers, Bev Horn broken. Watch for finger. |

I think that's what most people always wish. Fairly easy in some places, very difficult elsewhere. I've been sealing up the windows this week, kind of like "batten down the hatches" before hibernating. Michael |

Still shorts weather, and we still have the fan in the window at night! -- Cheers, Bev "The federal government has taken too much tax money from the people, too much authority from the states, and too much liberty with the Constitution." -- Ronald Reagan |
