I subsequently realized that I indeed was typing in the wrong passwork. When I tried to access it again with the correct password, the name of the wifi provider I was supposed to connect to disappeared from the list of providers. Has that happened to you? Has that provider's name been deleted because it looked suspicious that I was trying repeatedly to access it with the wrong password? Am I supposed to wait a day or 2 for that provider's name to reappear of the list? |

My wi-fi stays on 24/7 and it's a secure setting so no one can access it unless I give them the password. That ain't happening. But I do see my neighbors all around me networks but since I don't have their passwords I can't access their signal. Who is the provider? Where is the network set up? Why don't you ask them? |

Couldn't there be a command (alt-?) that will reveal the complete list of wifi connections including the one that disappeared after I entered the wrong password over and over? |

I guess you're locked out and figured you were a hacker trying to steal people's information since you didn't know the password. But I bet you've not asked anyone other than here for help. |

What operating system are you using? Google "refresh wireless networks" for that operating system. |
