It's clearly different in small towns and less-populated areas, but cities and suburbs have become crowded. There isn't enough water in California to supply the growing population, we're importing it from other states -- including states that have their own water problems. I just don't want a lot of people around. I especially don't want them around if I have to deal with them on a daily basis, and I REALLY don't want them around if they want to steal things, blow things up, burn things down and generally cause trouble.
