Ain't the point. These Arab and Asian Indian food market operators
need to get their products from a wholesale
outfit not from Aldi and Save A Lot. What's the matter? Are they
afraid to stock only name brands and nonAldi
and nonSave A Lot authentic offbrand items?

Whateva ya call it, have it markup. There should be scruples in the
manner it's done and *what* products.
Not Aldi and Save A Lot products. They should be sold to consumers
only, not dealers. "No dealers. Thank you."
I've seen this polite warning before.

With a relative in the restaurant business, I can vouch that many items
at Sams, Costco, etc are cheaper than typical wholesalers.

The markers they sell now smell more of xylene (xylol) than toluene.
If the marker is dry you should be able to wick some solvent by
dipping the tip in a shallow pool of xylene in the bottom of a jar,
sealing, and leaving it for a few hours. When the solvent starts to
color from the ink, you are done.

This won't get much solvent into the pen, and expect it to dry out
soon. Drilling a tiny hole (watch for sparks!) and injecting the
solvent with a syringe might work. Seal the hole with a small sheet
metal screw. Tape won't stick for long.

See? Isn't it better to buy fresh markers?

Dangerous Bill

Electricity costs on the newer freezers has become inconsequential.
Our new 20+ cu ft. freezer has an energy rating that gives average
yearly electric costs as less than $50/yr. With proper use, it is
possible to recoup the cost of a unit within a year.

True but - water packing fish and tightly wrapping products can
minimize the damage.

Most freezer interiors are insect free already. :)

Yep!

Another alternative might be putting in a super deck, like Mr. Heston
just supervised construction on for me. :-) Thank-you, sir.

The deck you designed might be a bit thick for use as a sidewalk
alternative; sidewalks are usually about 6" thick, your deck structure
is about 11". Of course, that might be a good way to conceal tire spikes.

Glad to help!

TOPIC: Under counter kitchen wraps holder/dispenser

==============================================================================

From: "Walter Cohen"

In my kitchen I have a plastic slide-out "drawer" that has space for 4 rolls
of kitchen wraps (i.e. foil, wax paper, plastic wrap, and paper toweling).
This "drawer" is attached to the underside of my upper wall kitchen cabinet.
It provides a quick, out of the way place to store and make use of all those
rolls of kitchen wrap instead of keeping each separate box somewhere in the
cupboard and having to search out each roll.
What's nice about it is the unraveled ends of each roll hang down loosely
underneath the "drawer" and each roll slot has a cutting edge to make
tearing the correct sized sheet off the roll.

Anyway, I need to replace this "thing" and have not been able to find
anything similar anywhere in any store (i.e. Target, home depot, Wal-Mart,
lnt, bed bath and beyond, etc).

Does anyone know what I'm referring to and know where I might find one of
these? I don't know what else to do with the 3 or 4 rolls of wraps and
paper toweling for quick and easy access and use. I don't particularly like
the standing pole thingy for paper toweling as it just takes up space on the
counter.

Any thoughts?
Thanks.
Walter

Post a picture of what you have now, at a site like www.photobucket.com

Have you got a link to that camera?

I have been thinking of getting one, but found they were way to
expensive.

If I get a guy with a proper camera to come around, it will set me
back at least 300, and then I have to pay again to verify the results.

Even if it's less accurate, it should give very good indication, and I
can do it at my own time and pace.

Unfortunately, they can only be converted to near infaread(light) nor
far infaread(heat).

Just have to add that you can get a tan with a T-shirt on, it only
takes quite a bit longer than without.
