You could be Jewish, like me :)
I have to admit, I like all the cookies, though.

Do the decent thing and set fire to yourself in 'protest' or sumfin.

That will get them to change their ways for sure.

My experience disagrees with you. I tried exercise - walking,
running, cycling, badminton - nothing gave me more energy. Yoga
helped relax me. It was not until last year when I was a lot better
that I got anything like a good feeling from exercise. I started
working out at a gym and I was amazed at how good it made me feel.
For the clinically depressed, I'd say, exercise in moderation and get
as much relaxation as you can.

I don't think 6 weeks is long enough. In any case,
The second method is not to change medication, but to up the dose.
Once the dose is maximized, and you're still not getting benefit from
it, that is the time to consider changing meds.

I don't know why they stopped the "drill a hole through the top of
your head" technique. That was supposed to relieve all kinds of
things. As for blood-letting - who knows? I've never lost enough
blood to try it out. Are you sick enough for ECT? Again, I've not
tried it but it works for some people.

Are you serious?
You are coming up with all these ridiculous ways of avoiding getting a
job. I know, I've been there. I've considered everything right down
to prostitution. The answer is to get a job. I know. I've been
there.

Another possible self employment idea came up. In the old country
there were "illegal immigrant" types who made a decent living washing
cars. One would come around early morning before the car owner went
to work and wipe down the car. All that's needed was a bicycle, a
couple of pails and some rags. He would draw his water from the tap
in the front yard. He does this twice or three times a week and we
had nice clean cars to drive. Probably that helped to keep down the
rust too. I can't recall what I paid but it was very affordable. I
don't know if you can do this at this time of the year in Birmingham.

Actually, I would have expected OCD and trolling to go right

Its either already law or will soon be - the legislation allowing kids
to track down sperm donor fathers.
If done officially, at the moment there is still no child support to
pay.
And those using a sperm bank to get pregnant will do so, regardless of
your sperm being there or not.

There are 'perks' to being disabled?
Damn, must have missed them.

Too messy.
Drugs "drill" thru the blood-brain barrier, accomplish the same thing.

The "scienc" behind both methods is about the same.

run up as much debt as you can(apply for zillions of credit/store
cards)

then declare yourself bankrup.

easy peasy,

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - President Gen. Pervez Musharraf suspended
Pakistan's constitution and deployed troops in the capital Saturday,
declaring that rising Islamic extremism had forced him to take
emergency measures. He also replaced the chief justice and blacked out
the independent media that refused to support him.

Authorities began rounding up opposition politicians, cut phone lines
in Islamabad and took all but state television off air, defying calls
from Washington and other Western allies not to take authoritarian
measures.

On Sunday, police arrested Javed Hashmi, the acting president of
exiled former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's party. Hashmi was arrested
along with 10 aides when he stepped outside his house in the central
city of Multan. Police also arrested six lawyers, including the
secretary of the Multan High Court Bar Association.

The U.S. said it was disappointed and called for Musharraf to restore
democracy. However, the Pentagon said the emergency declaration does
not affect U.S. military support for Pakistan and its efforts in the
war on terrorism. Britain said it was deeply concerned.

Musharraf's leadership is threatened by an increasingly defiant
Supreme Court, the reemergence of political rival and former prime
minister Benazir Bhutto and an Islamic movement that has spread to the
capital. The Supreme Court was expected to rule soon on the validity
of Musharraf's contentious re-election last month.

Attorney General Malik Mohammed Qayyum denied claims in the media and
from Bhutto, that Musharraf had imposed martial law - direct rule by
the army - without announcing it. He said this was not the case as the
prime minister and parliament were still in place.

Analysts said the emergency measures may only postpone Musharraf's
political demise.

In a televised address late Saturday night, Musharraf looked somber
and composed, wearing a black tunic rather than his usual military
fatigues. He said Pakistan was at a "dangerous" juncture.

"The extremism has even spread to Islamabad, and the extremists are
taking the writ of the government in their own hands, and even worse
they are imposing their obsolete ideas on moderates," he said.

Musharraf's order allows courts to function but suspends some
fundamental rights guaranteed by the constitution, including freedom
of speech. It also allows authorities to detain people without
informing them of the charges.

He replaced chief justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry - who had emerged
as the main check on his power. Musharraf's popularity plunged after
he tried and failed to fire Chaudhry this spring, sparking popular
protests against military rule.

What do you mean by "20,500 mAh" of energy? :-)

Since crystalization of space time from the frothy boil of the
multiverse, AA capacity has been fractional to D. I am unaware of any
exceptions to this, and i've been buying or using batteries for almost
50 years.

A reasonable basis for battery comparison within a chemical family is
simple: How Big Is It? More volume means more room for battery guts=>
more power. Always has. And for emphasis: reasonable.

Size also is, or should be, fairly probative across manufacturers, since
battery technology is pretty cut-and-dried. Nobody really has any
tricks. It would be frankly quite surprising to find much more than a
10% spread. Oh. wait. It IS surprising!

D cells have always had more more ma-hrs than AA's, at least until
Energizer came along.

Energizer's rechargable D-cell is a purely fraudulently promoted product
and they should be nailed to a fence over it.

so, i have to disagree.

I'll probably never get to Costco's....it's about 30 miles up in the
congested suburbs, screw em.
