You're a fuckwit. Glyphosate, the active ingredient of
Roundup, is absorbed through the foliage.

It does however do a fine job of killing trees when you pour some of the undiluted
roundup on the cut off trunk, so its more complicated than that in practice.

The answer to Why is usually Money. (Sometimes sex but then that's
often about money as well)

In this case I'm sure it's money. These guys want your money and they
will lie, cheat, spam or anything else it takes to get your money.
They aren't alone by a long shot. Lots of people want your money and
are willing to tell you how you Must give it to them. Some of them
use guns. Some of them use spam. They are all doing very bad things.

If it's about either money or sex, then it is the dumocrats behind it.
Money and sex are the *only* two things that
interests dumocrats.

Repair or replace? Another option would be to just live with it. How
important is that feature to you? My frugal bone wouldn't let me spend
a dime fixing a thing like that, but this is your call.

The self clean feature on my stove quit and I just have forgotten
about it. Until the main function of an appliance stops, I make do.

A store that sells husbands has just opened where a woman may go to
choose a husband from among many men...

The store is composed of 6 floors, and the men increase in positive
attributes as the shopper ascends the flights.

There is, however, a catch. As you open the door to any floor you may
choose a man from that floor, but if you go up a floor, you cannot go
back down except to exit the building.

So a woman goes to the shopping center to find a husband.

On the first floor the sign on the door reads:

Floor 1 - These men have jobs.
The woman reads the sign and says to herself, "Well, that's better
than my last boyfriend, but I wonder what's further up?"

So up she goes.

The second floor sign reads:

Floor 2 - These men have jobs and love kids.
The woman remarks to herself, "That's great, but I wonder what's
further up?" And up she goes again.

The third floor sign reads:

Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love kids and are extremely good
looking.
"Hmmm, better" she says. "But I wonder what's upstairs?"

The fourth floor sign reads:

Floor 4 - These men have jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking
and help with the housework.
"Wow!" exclaims the woman, "very tempting. BUT, there must be more
further up!" And again she heads up another flight.

The fifth floor sign reads:

Floor 5 - These men have jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking,
help with the housework and have a strong romantic streak.
"Oh, mercy me! But just think......

Yep
A trained monkey from your local trade union.

Problem?
Some people actually get a job.
The Union members could care less about those who love to have a short hour
job.
The Union members are really ticked that Wal-Mart actually pays more.

They are trained hate mongers and were the base (not leaders) of the
socialist movements in Germany (NAZI), Russia (USSR), China(People's
Republic) The leaders were the super rich.

Been drinking this for years. Periodically someone will review the
grocery store coffees and it comes out very well or at the top. I've
grown a little partial to the hazelnut blend, which seems a little
more mellow. Coffee has come a long way from when I grew up and the
old percolator turned coffee into a metallic-tasting bitter semi-solid
that looked like it had been used for an intestinal flush.

I'm sure I could find a better coffee than Eight O'Clock, but at that
hour of the morning the mouth woolies keep me from being too critical.

As to disasters- I'm inclined to think the fed rate cut has staved one
off for a little while, but that they are drunk with power, and the
old technique of drinking more to prevent a hangover just results in a
bigger hangover when it comes.
