Can't help you with that, but if you're looking for a low cost carrier,
I suggest taking a look at Mint Mobile. They are a T-Mobile MVNO, so it
depends on coverage where you are. They have unlimited voice/text and
3GB of data for $15 a month if you pay for a year at a time. If you
pay for 3 months at a time, it's $23. A year with 13GB of data per month
is $25 a month. After you exceed the data, it just slows. I've had it
for a year and a half, very happy. Have a friend here who's using it and
happy too and he got his parents in LA on it and they are happy too.
If you're interested, give me a heads
up here, they have a referral deal going on where we can both get some $$,
$30 I think. I think they still have a $5 trial deal too, where they
send you a sim with 100 minutes on it, 100MB of data to try it out too.

Useful information for those who use more than 10 calls and a few
hundred MB/year! What I'd like is a wifi hotspot with a certain amount
of data I could use until it's gone, but I don't think anybody offers
that.

Still waiting for Ting's response...
