The real point with all of this internet forum razamataz is if
you CHOOSE to ride a bike so be it, But if I don't "So Be It",
when we start telling others to see things "MY" way then the
real wars begin. I CHOOSE to ride a minivan because a 7' Bass
Viola and a Pedal Steel guitar and Amp can't be strapped to a
stupid bike. Oh NO!! That makes me a mainstreem corperate slob

This would be so much easier if one could post a PDF here but
here is a website that teaches you the same thing, What works
for Wifi WORKS for cell phones as well. I built one of these
and I can hit any unsecured Wifi spot within ten miles of my
vehicle, Oh ya this would look weird strapped on a bike? I
wouldn't recommend it. Here's the site hurry the Article is
getting ready to "Time Out".

biquad-dish-antenna/
">

You can cut corners by getting a Pad antenna and using that on
the Dishes horn but the construction is pretty simple, I opted
out of the cost and built the Pad myself. Some HAMS call them
"BowTie" antennas. Others may use the term "Pressure-Zone"
what-ever.

Really? I think that I'd miss having my cell phone, seeing as it
actually works, as opposed to the last land line that I had (which
Verizon claimed worked, and had no problem charging me for, but would
stop working if it was raining, humid, windy, etc. or even for no
discernable reason.) My monthly cell bill was cheaper than my (basic,
no long distance) land line bill too.

There's a reason that I haven't had a land line in years, and it
starts with "V" and ends in "erizon."

yup yup yup

also my cellphone has free unlimited mobile-to-mobile minutes no
matter who the carrier is, and free "night and weekend" minutes so
it's a very rare call (would have to be during the day, on a weekday,
and to a land line) for which I actually get charged minutes. And I
have 450 of those a month. I don't talk on the phone nearly enough to
get to that. I finally drank the Kool-Aid and got a smart phone a
couple months ago, and it's cool as heck, but even before that, I was
cell only for about seven years just because the convenience of the
cell was great, and with high-speed internet there was no longer any
compelling reason at all to pay for a land line which pretty much
would never get used. (why would I make a LD call from a land line
and get charged for it, when I can make the same call for free from my
cell?)

And, like I said, it works, without hassle. Unlike the last THREE
times I got a land line from V*****n, about whom I don't have the
vocabulary to clearly explain to you just how badly and in how many
different ways they suck. And I am quite fluent in colloquial English
profanity.

And as the radio ads say, "Each store is independently owned and operated",
which of course means that Grocery Outlet is probably more of a buying
co-operative and not a chain store at all. Another example of a buying
co-op is Ace Hardware. Each one is totally independent, but they get bulk
buying discounts because they buy products together so they can put in huge
orders.

Yeah sure, that name of yours says it all. You were with the
bourgeoisie to begin with. Now the bike is the VEHICLE OF LIBERATION
AND RECREATION (notice they rhyme).

Classical class struggle. Mao would have "reeducated" you.

(Religion without wisdom is out. After taking the best of Buddhism and
gringo wisdom --the hammock and beach cruiser-- Tropical Buddhism is
born. Perhaps this lifestyle is illustrated best in Key West, which is
why they don't want to be part of America. "Jesus" remains just a
meaningless utterance at the time of climax)

Question by Mario

"Praising Jesus?? I though you were Buddhist."

***

Just a saying. Just like when you are in the middle of "it" and scream
"Jeeeeeezus!!"

DISCLAIMER: My wisdom is a very loose interpretation of Buddhism. Call
it "tropical Buddhism" if you will...

The Tree is there, but the hammock and the bicycle have been added.
The banana is also new. Maybe this picture gives you the picture:

"REACH NIRVANA WITH A BANANA!"

It's the sure way to reach the Heavens without going too deep. Tantra
for the world. SLOW IS BETTER.

Dunno; never tried, LOL! Didn't mean to mislead you. The okra is in a
(nominally) 3'X8' raised bed. The tomatoes are, too, this year but some years I
grow them in containers -- halves of 60 gallon olive barrels that accomodate
approx. 4 cubic feet.
Right now, all that's in containers is a variety of culinary herbs and, of
course, a couple of jalapeño peppers, which I grow as perennials by bringing
them indoors when temperature falls into their get-me-out-of-here zone.
Received overnight email that Gurney's _finally_ have shipped that tarragon
I ordered weeks ago. It'll start out in something small enough for me to move
around in the yard so as to escape the direct summer sun.

In my opinion [for what it's worth LoL], they are,
Reliable and do honer the warranty, BUT!!! When that warranty
expires and you want to fix it your self? FORGET IT!!! They
abandon their customers as soon as the warranty is out, so
keep that in mind when you opt out of the extended warranty
options. Being a Net Tech, I have abandoned flat screen "Green
Friendly" monitors, because they are planned obsulecents at
about 2 years from the time of purchase. We are filling land
fills with two year old flat screens at a rate unheard of
compared to the old CRT type monitor, after throwing two flat
screens away I dug out the old 21 inch sony trinitron VGA
color monitor and gave up on the new flat screen low energy
monitors, They blow up to early and waist your money.
If you can only afford to "EXTEND" a warranty on one of the 2
items I would extend the monitor's warranty NOT the computer,
after 2 years your compuuter will be old out of date and slow
anyway.

Gotta disagree here, The cameras gotta go, that's no more then
a symbol of "I want Big Brother" to take responsability of MY
health and welfair so I don't have to. Next thing ya know they
will install cameras in your bed room to make sure you are NOT
having dangerous and unprotected sex with your other half.
Carefull what you wish for, when government steps in
they don't know when to stop. Cameras where? EVERYWHERE!!!
Thats the answer. How about just shooting the moron in the SUV
that cuts you off? Now there's an idea.

Just Communist crap, thank goodness I live in Tennessee,
especially the middle area, by the drones voters have voted
the redlightcameras OUT of existance, their pesky, inacurate
and convict the wrong ones almost everytime. One of my
favorite tricks was a remote controlled plate cover that when
activated like James bond the license plate was unreadable for
the few seconds you pass through the yellow light turning red,
the cameras would snap your pic "BEFORE" the redlight appeared
almost everytime, getting you a ticket, Grass roots lobbyists
have proved this with videos, I used to love parking my van a
half a mile away, taking my bike with a disquise to the
offending light cam with My TREX 450 remote controlled
helicopter and raise a paint can with a pinhole in it to the
camera and cover the lens with paint, all the surveyers saw
was a toy helicopter spray painting there light cams and then
BLACKOUT from that point on. It was work but it was worth it
LOL. What next are these morons going to vote for, cameras in
your bedroom to make sure ytour straight? Carefull what you
vote for giving up freedom and privacy for security is a bad
thing. Then again it's a commy thing and this country is full
of wannabe commies. I'm proud of my costly shinanagins, they
are SOOOOOO much fun.

WA WA WA WA Calif is broke because the morons that live there
voted to control everything, taxed businesses out of the state
and communised a free country into a puritanicle, fashist
entitlement minded smoke free steril commune, no producers =
no free stuff, Duhhhhh, did'nt the hippies teach you that on
Haight street in the 1960's? Tax CO2? make me lauph I just
fart come get me IRS and don't forget my dog farts too.
California is broke because they deserve to be broke, they
voted to be broke they begged for their poverty through
politicle correct green peace scams that rape the producers of
their profit and drove them off the state, you got what you
deserve, NOTHING!!! Now take your layoff like a man and
shutup, if the EBT card declines I will really be happy!!!
Oh but hey!! We're smoke/pollution free and burn no gas, we
are doing the right thing aren't we? or are we? Hummmmmm?
Cave man didn't burn much fuel but I sure wouldn't want
anything to do with that way of life. It's hot in here I think

Automatic concealed carry permits for bikers. Each biker is allowed to
bag NO MORE THAN THREE drivers. The driver can't possibly know whether
the biker has hit his limit or not.

Easy and cheap solution. Next problem...

Also because people used to "read books".

Some people have read books like "The Interpretation of Dreams by
Sigmund Freud". After reading such a book, the person might be curious
and interested in what someone else has dreamed about...

How does Okara do in containers? I plant cherry tomatoes in ~2 gallon
pots and they do fair-to-OK.

Perhaps you are thinking "The grass is greener...", but I'm guessing
that after no more than a short visit here, you too would tire of all
the wet grey weather that La Nina has brought us this spring.

Speaking of the green grass, just last weekend I was getting in a
little driveway batting practice with my son when he accidentally hit
pop fly into the thick of the lawn. Without thinking, I went in to
look for it -- a foolish move on my part given the late hour. I soon
became hopelessly lost, with darkness fast approaching. By sheer luck
I stumbled upon an encampment of friendly aboriginals who took me in
for the night. At the break of twilight, they sent me on my way with
a few provisions and a crude map of the way out of the tangle. I
never found the missing baseball, but I consider myself lucky to have
emerged with my life.

Or, just remove the filter cartridge, hose it off, soak in TSP, rinse thoroughly

I see a Christian in denial of riding a bike as prevention to climate
change.

You don't have to go EVERYWHERE with a bike, just go wherever you can
--at least to church. ;)

Maybe you should move away from the Bible Belt to ride a bike.

We just need to curb the greed and excess of conspicuous behavior such
as the SUV. It's the nouveau riche and the age of globalization that
worries me. China and India are joining the club while the cyclists
become the outcasts.

Right here in America we are relegated to riding grinding sidewalks
along the lumpenproletariat.

Do we need a martyr for the revolution? Do we need a Man of Wisdom? I
don't think so. We already have plenty of dead people...

"Bad drivers, lousy infrastructure, and speed limits that are too high
inside urban areas are a major reason for wrecks between bicycles and
motor vehicles in FL, with poor knowledge of the laws for riding a
bike and operating a motor vehicle around a bike being the major area
of concern. Even if you know what to do if the driver of the motor
vehicle doesn't know what to do you're still just as dead. The parents
of one of the dead cyclists speak out about the situation."

Prices have gone up. New welcome-to-Algodones facility. New
welcome-to-the-US facility -- a real building, not just the trailer.
Glasses are now roughly the same price as discount glasses around here.
The weather was nice, though.

And as the radio ads say, "Each store is independently owned and operated",
which of course means that Grocery Outlet is probably more of a buying
co-operative and not a chain store at all. Another example of a buying
co-op is Ace Hardware. Each one is totally independent, but they get bulk
buying discounts because they buy products together so they can put in huge
orders.
