Since there are "plenty," that shouldn't be too hard.

=v= Wow. Okay, basically what you're saying there is that
you have absolutely no idea whatsoever what you're talking
about, so it makes no sense trying to base a discussion with
you on something so mundane as the facts. Minor facts, like,
oh, you know, how road use taxes and bond financing are totally
different things.

Yeah stalling was a problem that's now almost a memory though the
sides remain thick. The clippers fly through the top now.

Our renewals are up to 5 years too. Used to be 10 till about 30 years
ago when greed found a new way to raise revenue.
It's strange how they talk about a licence being a privilege not a
right yet public transport outside major cities is virtually
non-existent. That of course shows up elderly semi-blind drivers being
allowed to keep their licences until they drive over someone, as in
the case of a former neighbour of mine who did it to a kid on a
pedestrian crossing. When he wrote off three cars in a prang a couple
of years earlier it wasn't enough to do any more than restrict his
limited by then already conditions a bit.
I suppose to compensate for being kind to older drivers they make it
tougher for the young ones to gain a licence.

AIDS became the name of the disease in 1983, maybe late 1982. Earlier
in 1982 it was called GRID (gay related immune disorder), but only for
months. In the year or so before GRID became the name, and maybe not an
official one, some people hearing about gay men getting sick and dying of
a mysterious new disease called it the "gay plague". I first heard about
it maybe in 1981 or early so. At some time in 1982, it was still so new
that only 12 deaths had been attributed to it.
