So I have had a persistent dry cough today. Figured it's my throat all tore up from smoking weed (yeah I know, worst mistake of 2020) but I laid off when I ran out Saturday. Spent 2 hours no energy unable to get out of bed. After my hike to the top of a 2500 foot peak. Which I do almost every day when I can.

But I always feel so weird and off inside and not really sure what's just deep depression, the weed or no weed or just I don't even know what's supposed to feel like what. Plenty of times the last year where I just started feeling "off" and started to wonder.

My friend is urging me to get a Covid test immediately.

I told him it costs too much around here and I don't really GAF at the moment.

He sent me a link to some free ones.

The quandary is this.

It would require a bus or Uber trip. An absolute no-no if you suspect illness.

So, if I think I have Covid do I get the test or just ride it out and see? No, I am not spending $100+ at one of the local drug stores.

I do have a roommate. And he has a cat. He did everything right. I did almost everything right except my relentless and sometimes successful pursuit of female companionship. He's not happy about it but doesn't want to bite the pillow either.

So, MCFL, what do I do?

Call up the testing site and ask them for suggestions? Find a friend
that already had it to drive you?

I don't have any friends. At least not the kind I can ask for anything.

Give blood. They test it and tell you the results.

I suspected there might be that problem. You're hosed. Just try to
bear up under the strain.

If I die please tell MCFL I am sorry for all the bad things I said and did

Weird thing is it raged thru mom's house last December. One niece tested poz at work, mom got it, was sick for a few days but still gets really fatigued, sister tested neg, other niece didn't bother testing, and of course no one tested the 5 year old who is a super spreader event by herself.

Also struggling with worst depression in 20 years. Introducing marijuana into the mix after 10 years ... ugh. At least my unemployment got torpedoed last week and spending my own money on that shit makes it a lot less appealing.

Gonna just monitor the roommate's health.

I just held his cat for like 10 mins

Galway, Ireland is the first place I ever visited where I didn't say to myself "glad I don't live here."

America kinda sucks now so if I wanted to move there, what do I do and how do I do it?

"Unless you are an EU/EEA citizen then the Irish immigration process can
be time consuming and frustrating."
