The only thing I have said to Jim McNamara which he truly understands is
"Fuck you too Asshole". It is wonderful to be finally understood fully. It
is all I will ever have to say to him and to similar idiots who do not know
how to read or how to think. It is a copy and paste which only takes me
about 10 seconds.

A bundle of SHIT (ie BULLSHIT) is more like it.

You know Tom, the guy is always putting you down for just having a
profession and working for a living as though that is for some twited
reason of disdain whereas being a lazy, worthless, parasite that
contributes absolutely nothing to society *yeah I'm referring to you
Ed)t is somehow an honorable endeavor, though only from Dolan's warped
perspective of course,. Go figure. I suspect that the only thing
that Dolan has worked at his entire life, with any concerted effort,
is the honing of his his skill as the quintessential, obnoxious,
asshole of cyberspace. What a claim to fame ... NOT!!!

Dolan . Do come back for ore Ed.

So reading and thinking are you're strong suit? Thanks. I needed a
good laugh today. Your middle initial must be "H" (thin hubris). One
of you major malfunctions is how you approach people. You basically
engage people with an, "I'll tell you what you want (an need) to hear"
demeanor and that doesn't fly, but what can one really expect from a
misanthropic, troglodyte, faggot anyways. You really are a one hell
of a real piece of work. You are completely and utterly fucked up ...
BIG TIME!!!

One question is if there's a god, another if he's Christian. C'mon, he
can be Muslim or worship the Moon...

Worshiping the Moon can be reasonable and I do try to come out every
full moon. I think that's a little Pagan because people come out to
the beach with drums and dance. They also smoke a lot of pot (you can
feel it in the air), which makes for an atmosphere of freedom. Some
couples go into the water and God knows what happens there.

It would be cool if God were Pagan.

I don't know that religion has a "fashion", but to many the statement
as written in the Rede is the ultimate statement of responsibility,
not of anarchy. The first clause is "An it harm none" which is much
like the Judeo-Christian "Thou shalt not kill", easy to say but
impossible to actually do. What the Wiccan practitioner does is to
strive to minimize the damage he or she does in life while still
living that life. "Harm none" extends to the self and everything you
touch, but everything does something harm, the idea is to harm as few
as possible while helping as many as possible.

For instance, using computers. On the one hand using a computer
requires electricity, which in the US is mostly from burning fossil
fuels. On the other hand by using computers we can be our own mass
media, communicating with millions while not using a single sheet of
paper, thereby saving forests. So you have the tradeoff of a little
air pollution vs. not killing thousands of trees.

There is also the matter of eating meat. We have evolved so that a
portion of our diet can be meat, and that ratio can be anywhere from
0/100 to 100/0 meat to vegetable matter. On the one hand you have to
kill an animal to eat meat, on the other hand, to quote Binkley from
Bloom County, "Boiled carrots never have a nice day."

Even in our transportation we have a choice of harms, between time
consumed to pollution created. My personal choice is usually walking
or riding my bike but there are times when I use public transit or
ride in a car if there's no other way. And sometimes there is just no
other way.

You may say some religions are "fashionable" when they allow you to
"camouflage" into the system, while the opposite is when they get you
in trouble.

Being a Christian, for example, opens doors for you in the West, but
gets you in trouble in Egypt.

My local forum kindly provided me this article that shows why cyclists
are mad at you --if you are one those who dismiss cyclists as nothing
more than a monkey. Well, now that the monkeys are getting together,
you may have to think about it twice before... Hey, I don't to
politicize this article! Please read on...

(I changed the title)

Why Your Neighborhood Cyclist Hates You

Sure, you've laughed at cyclists' bulge-hugging Spandex shorts, rolled
your eyes when they use the street inches from the sidewalk, and if
you're a certain Latin pop star, you've even gotten drunk, hit them,
and then driven off with their bike still lodged in your front fender
while they lie bleeding on the side of the road. Asshole.

Ah, and let's not forget ladies, the bigger the truck the more
adorable you look. Even when you're texting, which has become such a
pain now that cyclists are sharing the road. What a nuisance. Well,
the feeling's mutual...kinda. The local cyclist we spoke to organizes
group rides to celebrate bicycles, encourage cycling, and to remind
drivers that they must share the road. Although this sounds about as
sweet as puppies and rainbows, there's still a few things that drivers
(and even cyclists) do that really jam up his gears:

1. Passing too closely
Hey buddy, there's a reason why there's a state law that every vehicle
must leave three feet of space between their car and a passing
cyclist. Would you want to inhale a lung-full of exhaust while an
8,000-pound machine whizzes two inches away from your vulnerable flesh
so they can get home in time to indulge in a Full House marathon and
binge on Sun Chips? We think not.

2. The right hook
This is when you speed up to pass a cyclist and then make an abrupt
right turn in their path. You usually underestimate your speed, which
means the cyclists has to stop abruptly so that don't crash into you.
For those who haven't experienced it firsthand, peacefully riding a
bike and then, all of a sudden, having your bike fly up and over your
head is more terrifying than thrilling.

3. Honking
Uh, yeah, driver, we kind of already know that you're there. You're
hard to miss. You're in a giant sedan. So, there's really no need to
honk. Unless you have one of those custom musical horns, it just makes
you look angry and obnoxious.

4. The door prize
Kudos on your awesome parallel parking skills and all but please, oh
please don't open your door without checking the bike lane first.
Otherwise, there'll be flesh crashing into metal and asphalt when the
cyclist flies off their bike and lands in traffic.

5. Cyclists who ride against traffic in the bike lane
For one, it's against the law, and creates a dilemma for fellow riders
who are obeying the rules. It's not fun to problem solve under three
seconds. Besides, if the unfortunate happens, and you do get hit by a
car on the wrong side, it's your fault. Don't ruin it for the rest of
us.

http://blogs.miaminewtimes.com/cultist/2010/09/why_your_neighborhood_cyclist.php

***

By the way I hate cyclists who ride on sidewalks (rather fast) and
don't want to join the revolution.

6. Cyclists who don't yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, like the
moron who nearly ran into me yesterday as I was crossing the street.

7. Cyclists who think red lights don't pertain to them.

I totally agree with #6, but #7 are OK if they don't threaten
pedestrians. Mostly they are mowed down by cars.

And they have a License to Kill.

Now they can go ahead and kill me. ;)

People who can't tell among these three types of cyclists, shouldn't
be driving:

1- Lycra type = long distance reckless cyclists,

2- Single speed type = short distance reckless cyclists,

3- Utility type = using panniers for errands, not be confused with the
Huffy type (survivors) riding on sidewalks.

Type 1 and 2 accept the risk, but type 3 is slower and wants his
distance.

K, cyclist, I'll tell you why I hate you---

You don't merge with traffic
You don't give the right of way, but always expect it for yourself--your
not a sailboat-your self-powered!
You don't ever stay in your own lane
And when out riding your bike to save the enviorment, you act as if you
don't have a gasoline powered car at home--so much better than the rest
of us.

One last thing, and this is a cheap shot......your workout clothes SUCK!

I propose some practice of some of Philadelphia's law enforcement
officers:

Don't bitch out cyclists for running red lights if the cyclists first
yield to, stopping if necessary, to everyone who has a green light or
walk signal, both vehicle and pedestrian.

And go by the "Golden Rule" - do unto others as you would have them do
unto you. Especially as considered by someone who is a bigtime cyclist,
but is also often a pedestrian and further also owns a car and drives it
about 40% as much as driving his motorless 2-wheel street-legal vehicle
that has 2 pedals for propulsion from carb-burning fat-burning power.

Which means, don't get in the way of those with green light or walk
signal, don't force stopping/slowdown/evasive-action by those with
green light or walk signal, and don't startle those taking right-of-way
that you have to yield by yielding merely by inches to a couple feet or
half a second or less.

Excellent idea! I found out that my bank will count a not-huge amount
of change into their little machine and not charge me for it.
Apparently other banks assess some sort of fee. Tsk tsk.

All shipping carriers are unreliable, self-serving and inconsiderate.
There is none that is better than any other, just like cell phone
companies. When it comes to home delivery--especially to apartment
dwellers--delivery services, no matter which company, treat their
customers shoddily.

The *only* solution--short of eliminating delivery services from your
life--is to find a local business that will be glad to use their
address to receive your packages. Of course, you must trust them, and
already have a good personal rapport with 'em.

Duh!

Not exactly comparing like with like in the power outputs there so hardly a
useful comparison when it comes to deciding relative merits of diesel over
petrol (or vice versa).

Actually that comes close to the only "commandment" in most pagan
philosophies today, with the Wiccan Rede being the most quoted, " An
as ye harm none, do as ye will shall be the law." The Golden Dawn has
a different take on it that means essentially the same thing but you
have to have read about 40 pages of dissertation to understand it: "Do
as you Will shall be the whole of the Law. Love is the Law, Love under
Will." The capitalization changes the meaning assigned to the words
Love and Will, making them shorthand for pages of doctrine. Rather
than waste bandwidth explaining subjects I'm only peripherally aware
of I'll let the student research this on his or her own. I know Wicca,
Golden Dawn is something else entirely.

Someone brought that up in another forum, but I thought it wasn't in
fashion any more.

I'm sure the "Spirits of the Jungle" ring a bell through the forests
of Northern Europe. Jesus came from the arid lands of Judea to end the
fun.

I always thought the 11th Commandment was "Honor thy children." Anyway,
while we're on the subject of Commandments, let's look at what Jesus had
to say back in Matthew:

Mat 22:34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the
Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.
Mat 22:35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question,
tempting him, and saying,
Mat 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with
all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour
as thyself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

If you look at the 10 Commandments from Exodus:

Exo 20:2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land
of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Exo 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Exo 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any
likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth
beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Exo 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I
the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers
upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate
me;
Exo 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and
keep my commandments.
Exo 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for
the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it
thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy
manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that
is within thy gates:
Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and
all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD
blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Exo 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long
upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Exo 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.
Exo 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
Exo 20:15 Thou shalt not steal.
Exo 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
Exo 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not
covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor
his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

and you actually read them, in light of what Christ had to say in
Matthew, you realize that He spoke the truth, for if you love God with
all your mind, heart, and soul, you violate the first two, and if you
love your neighbor as yourself, you won't violate the other eight.

The Law of Thelema was revealed to the world by a praeterhuman
Intelligence calling himself Aiwass in Cairo, Egypt in March and April,
1904 e.v. Aiwass appeared first to Rose Edith Kelly -nee-
Crowley, in an altered state of consciousness (ASC), and
subsequently to the British poet and magical adept, Aleister
Crowley *(pronounced Crow-lee)* (born in Leamington, England on
October 12, 1875 e.v.). Aiwass proceeded to demonstrate his objective
existence independently of the psyches of both Crowley and Rose,
by leading them to the stele of Ankh-af-na-khonsu, a Theban
Egyptian priest of the 8th century B.C.E., in the Boulak Museum,
where they had never been. He then dictated a sacred text to
Crowley called the -Book of the Law-. For five years thereafter
Crowley resisted the Law of Thelema and the mission of Thelemic
prophet laid upon him by Aiwass, regarding the Cairo Working, as
it is called, as an "astral vision" (-i.e.-, a purely
imaginative – but not "imaginary" – experience). However,
Crowley's subsequent attainment of the grade of Master of the Temple
in the Supreme College of the Great White Brotherhood resulted in
his acceptance of the Law of Thelema and of his own prophetic
role as described in the -Book of the Law-. Crowley proclaimed
himself as the prophet of a new eon for humanity for the first
time in his long mystical poem, -Aha-! (1909), which has been
compared in beauty and profundity to the -Bhagavad-Gita-.
Thereafter he signed his correspondence and formal instructions
with the two main slogans of the -Book of the Law-, "Do what
thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law" and "Love is the law,
love under will."

*The symbol on this page hangs in our house. Gina was a follower of
Thelema and the O.T.O. for many years. She did translations of The Book
of the Law for the Brazilian O.T.O. founded by Marcelo Ramos Motta.
She met Motta and many others in high standing with the O.T.O. Motta
spoke with her in Toronto in the mid 70's.
Interesting if you want to read up on it.*

*Many passages are quoted from the Book of the Law*

Invoke me under my stars! *Love is the law, love under will.* Nor let
the fools mistake love; for there are love and love. There is the dove,
and there is the serpent. Choose ye well! He, my prophet, hath chosen,
knowing the law of the fortress, and the great mystery of the House of
God.

All these old letters of my Book are aright; but צ [Tzaddi] is not the
Star. This also is secret: my prophet shall reveal it to the wise.

I give unimaginable joys on earth: certainty, not faith, while in life,
upon death; peace unutterable, rest, ecstasy; nor do I demand aught in
sacrifice.

My incense is of resinous woods & gums; and there is no blood therein:
because of my hair the trees of Eternity.

My number is 11, as all their numbers who are of us. The Five Pointed
Star, with a Circle in the Middle, & the circle is Red. My colour is
black to the blind, but the blue & gold are seen of the seeing. Also I
have asecret glory for them that love me.

Try hitchhiking in America.

That sounds worse than walking!

I understand the risks and dangers of socialism (such as corruption
and caudillismo), but a fair hand such as mine seems to encourage the
happy development of birds. Moreover the different species seem to
enjoy each other's food and cages, where they would be bored in
solitude (call it Gated Community if you will). Notice though that all
parrots are one family, where cats have no place.

George Orwell was a socialist himself though rather skeptic. His own
realism is called ANIMALISM, which is the only hope for the world. Of
course, not all animals are the same.

And the mouse... (that we'll leave for later).

"If she herself had had any picture of the future, it had been of a
society of animals set free from hunger and the whip, all equal, each
working according to his capacity, the strong protecting the weak." -
G. Orwell

TM is a poor crazy bastard who just posts on his one favorite subject -
hatred of motor vehicles because they interfere with his use of the roads.
His other favorite subject is attacking Christianity. If you respond to this
poor crazy bastard, then you are a poor crazy bastard too.

He likes to reference monkeys and other wild animals normally found only in
zoos because he is most likely a wild beast himself. I think he fornicates
with monkeys, but I can't prove it.

TM should confine himself to just one thread instead of proliferating them
like a poor crazy bastard. He is insane of course. I liken him to the
village idiot of olden times. The difference these days is that no one any
longer recognizes the village idiot because idiocy has become so widespread.

But I will be here to remind one and all of what a poor crazy bastard TM is.
It is mark of My Greatness that I can still recognize the village idiot even
if the rest of you can't.

PEST CONTROL
Diatomite is also used as an insecticide, due to its physico-sorptive
properties.
The fine powder absorbs lipids from the waxy outer layer of insects'
exoskeletons, causing them to dehydrate.
Arthropods die as a result of the water pressure deficiency, based on
Fick's law of diffusion.
This also works against gastropods and is commonly employed in gardening
to defeat slugs. However, since slugs inhabit humid environments,
efficacy is very low.
It is sometimes mixed with an attractant or other additives to increase
its effectiveness.
Medical-grade diatomite is sometimes used to de-worm both animals and
humans.
It is most commonly used in lieu of boric acid, and can be used to help
control and eventually eliminate a cockroach infestation.
This material has wide application for insect control in grain
storage. It has also been used to control bedbug infestations.

*It is used at the steam plant to filter high pressure control oil*
*called E-H Fluid.*
