Even if you ignore the 4% rebate.

The drawback is that you have to get there before the store opens unless
you want to wait in a long line. Something I hope people don't learn
(they seem to be unaware of it so far): The hoses are long enough
(unlike Arco) that you can use the LEFT lane and still have the nozzle
reach your orifice.

On making my will, with the help of a volunteer legal service, I visited the Salvation Army local office and I think learned that:
1) SA will hold a copy of your will;
2) SA will not act as your will executor, normally;
3) SA will act as your executor if you donate all your possessions to them. Not sure what possessions are required for SA to act as executor.

I did invest in a cremation policy with Alaska Cremation Society, but since learned that they require an insurance policy that will act on your behalf and won't return the $1,200 paid, so watch out for that.

Need actual information to answer the question.

Profitable or unprofitable positions? Short term or long term capital
gains? What tax bracket is the taxpayer in? Any existing capital loss
carryover?

After thinking about it, I signed on to receive a free Thanksgiving dinner, complete with turkey.

Turkey arrived yesterday, I thawed it immediately, which you're not supposed to do, just put in refrigerator, and went so far as to run cold water on it. Couldn't figure out how to remove the neck, which somehow was doubled-back into the cavity.

Removed turkey after 4 hours at 325 degrees, and found it dried up;; should have gone for 3 hours or 275 degrees, I suppose.

Anyway, I carved it up into manageable parts I wrapped in foil and put in refrigerator. Mixed all the giblets into a gravy using gravy pouch that came with the turkey, and put into gravy remaining small bits I scraped from the carcass: not bad. Neck and wings, though, were too dry to use, so refrained from chopping up carcass to make a soup or something.

Still have a frozen pumpkin pie and Cool Whip for Thanksgiving Day.

I'm single and living in Anchorage, Alaska. Looked at my Frugal Living budget, it seems like I spend about $270 a month getting delivery service from Fred Meyers. Sold my car and pay no insurance, as compensation. Will take bus or taxi to grocery, etc., as needed.

Items I've just ordered from Fred Meyer delivery service include the following, some of which reflect seasonal preferences or just stocking up against more shortages and costs. I'm now on a keto diet, going without carbs or starches, but more proteins, like meats, cheese, fish, chicken, vegetables, and salads.

bacon, 4 lbs.
distilled water, 1 gallon
salads, 2 kits with dressing
hamburger, 10 lbs.
hot dogs, 8 lbs.
pumpkin pie, 2 lbs.
cauliflower and other vegetables, frozen
Total: $150

Must be the issue of euthanasia is related to abortion, and the question of who has the right to decide? Seems like the owner of the body has right to decide, since the option to end life can be exercised by oneself.

In Alaska, where I live, there are occasional reports of a remote cabin and its occupant burning up. Not sure how to factor in how individuals seeking relief opt for alcohol and illegal drugs, gang membership, maybe military service. Because our churches are not that much part of the equation any more, who beside social workers are helping individuals? Main problem probably concerns family ties, which are important to us all.

I, myself, had a parent who crashed his airplane and suffered part of his brain removed, leaving him in another world of personal care monitoring. At one point, the family decided to opt for euthanasia for him and arranged for someone to shut off his oxygen supply at the hospital when we were there. I agreed to this, found that only two others would be there, and turned the oxygen back on when he began to squirm and toss. As a result, my family has lost communications. Ten years later in a state hospital bed he died on his own, evidently.

Only legal remedy I can think of is to find out how different states regard the euthanasia issue. Dr. Kavorkian, R.I.P..

I forgot to add that about Alaska Natives it's well known that Eskimos have a tradition of euthanasia, like when an elder realizes he/she is a burden on those sharing with, they will go out alone in sub-zero weather and lie down, maybe in an igloo. Was a case like that in recent years of an old man who was found lying down in the snow with his snowmobile near by. But family members tracked him down and brought him back.

Must be similar traditions in history and foreign countries.

Some words by William Hazlett I found are like that.

"It is a good old rule to hope for the best. Always, my dear, believe things to be right, till you find them the contrary; and even then, instead of irritating yourself against them, endeavour to put up with them as well as you can, if you cannot alter them."
