I had to return some ammonia-flavored brie, and they were equally helpful.

OTOH, I think most purveyors of groceries are generous with returns of
merchandise, including stuff that you just didn't like. I once
mistakenly bought tofu "yogurt" because it was in the yogurt section and
'tofu' was printed in tiny letters. They took that back too. Nothing
wrong with it that I could tell, it was just nasty stuff...

Organized Pantry in an intelligent way Video

How to Optimize Pantry Shelving

cooking will be much easier when you optimize your pantry shelving to
make it easier to store and find your kitchen essentials

The fist step in optimizing your pantry shelving is to take a look at
what is there. Do you have a lot of spices, canned goods, bottles,
boxes, or bags? Do you store kitchen utensils on your pantry shelves

Shelf Assignments

Assign a home for each different type of item. Have one shelf for
cereals, one for canned foods, one for spices and another for prepared
boxed meals such as macaroni and cheese. If you need to, you can split
a shelf between for different foods. Be sure to keep the multiples of
each food together so you can see at a glance how much of something
you have. Store taller items on the back of the shelves. This makes
them easier to see, thus easier to find.

Reduce Dead Space

Look inside your cabinet, and think through how you want to arrange
everything. Containerize your groupings to keep them together and more
easily accessible when you put them back into the pantry, and put any
loose food into airtight containers to keep it fresh and easier to
grab and go. Using stackable containers helps keep your pantry neat
and your food easy to see and access.

Useful and Attractive Canisters

Find canisters or other holders for noodles, flour, sugar, rice,
popcorn, or other foods that come in flimsy plastic or paper bags.

Label
Once you've decided where everything should go, keep it there by
labeling the container or spot properly. Changing a container's
contents? No problem. Change its label, too

Do they still sell boxes of idential Xmas cards, 24 or so? I only send out
a few cards, so this is very economical for me. I ran out this year but
can't find the boxes of cards so far. They don't sell them any more or I'm
looking for them in the wong places? I looked before and after Xmas. I used
to buy a box of leftovers every few years at Walmart on sale after Xmas to
restock.

TIA

Walmart and other department stores/supermarkets still have plenty of them
but instead of deeply discounting them AFTER Xmas, they discount them a week
BEFORE Xmas so there are not as many to be found on Boxing day.

Try you local large format grocery store or box-box style drug store.

Henchman nailed it. I actually didn't find any at my local WalMart, weeks
before Christmas, but the local drugstore (CVS-owned) had tons.

The monkey in the cage must be able to throw shit.

Sorry, take me out of the cage and open the roads to my monkey bike.

NOTE: We will be out of the cage in a few minutes but we'll be riding
our folding bike on sidewalks. It may be grinding at times and not
much safer, you know. But it's Sunday, the Christians are in Church

Does anyone have a good idea about 'kleeto'? Actually, I am struggling

about it but when I asked him about this service in detail, even he
did not have any clear idea. Somebody please tell in detail about

There are many online companies that will back up your computer or
store documents. There are also many free clipboards that allow
storage only limited by the size of your hard disk. Kleeto is a new
service. They don't even have their web site complete. And the service
is very expensive and cumbersome to use. I see no reason to even
consider this service if they offered it for free.

All you need is a decent scanner and a big hard drive.

Please. If this isn't a shill, I'm a giraffe.

The web site is a tad primitive, with slightly skewed English. I
didn't go any farther than the home page.

And the real trick is to start now, and scan as the stuff comes in.

I got a scanner some years back, and automatically started scanning
the manuals (if they came as paper) and bills of things I bought, and
that's manageable. Keeping it all in one place, I find it's much easier
to find than looking through endless piles of paper.

The backlog is different, it's a much bigger project. But if one doesn't
start now, the backlog just gets bigger.

It's actually odd, I scan at decent resolution, and it still doesn't
accumulate that fast. So the original plan, of saving to CDROM or
DVD didn't happen, I haven't yet gotten that much to make a DVD worth
while. So I actually got some USB flash drives on sale, and use those
for archive. Still lots of space, even with 4gig drives, but the plan is
to pretty much only write to them, don't delete. They have the advantage
of not having to have a full "disk" accumulated before saving to the
drives.

I've done things like keep reviews of things I've bought with the bill
and manual, or in some cases articles about modifications. The point
being that one can often find useful information that should be kept
with the manual, and having it all in digital form allows it.

Sorry, but you've misspelled "Klaatu." As far as explaining it, I think

Are mornings rough due to making choices of clothing and then finding it? Try
finding a way to choose apparel the day before and arranging it in an easy
location for use.

In my bathroom there is a partition between the toilet and sink. I have hooks
where hangers can be put, undergarments hung with shoes on the floor beneath.
This allows me to dress while taking care of business.

In front of the toilet is space for a short cabinet that holds my vitamin/
medicine to be taken each day, a hair brush and clips, a pair of nail clippers
and a jar of nail polish remover.

I am somewhat handicap and can not stand for long. This arrangement allows me
to prepare for the day with out help. That means I can rise early as I prefer
and allow the rest of the family to sleep as they need. I am on a day schedule.
Several family members are on second or third shift.

Nope. Completely effortless in that regard, actually.

No point given that the current approach is effortless.

Their problem.

Nah, I tend to "choose" whatever clothing I find first. :) But it
sounds like your organizational system works well for you.

Armistice/Veteran's Day, right?

Trying to find the 11-ness of this. 44 is a multiple of 11 - are you
predicting our 44th president will be re-elected?

If your job sends you away from the area in which you usually work, some
costs legitimately incurred while traveling for work are deductible.
See http://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc511.html

Your wife sounds rather... young. ;)

Unless the writing you are doing requires you to make this trip (i.e. the
magazine has told you to write an article about this particular cruise
offering, this particular cruise company, or at the very least, cruises
in the Caribbean in general), it's probably not a possibility. And even
if it does, I don't think you could deduct the cost of taking your wife
along.

Out the door, down the hall, around the corner to the left, and look
for a door with a groupname that contains "test" :)
