I think that, in general, federal & state taxes fund principally
highways, and even then only a fraction (e.g. ~60% US federal interstate
funding).

Yeah, I'd even be excited if they just included the $50 card. $80 a year is still more than a lot of Page
Plus users spend currently; after all, you can get away with spending $40 a year.

$30. That's me. I have two Pageplus numbers that get very little
use so I'm way-y-y ahead on minutes. In fact, one of the accounts does
not have a working phone; I just pay the $2.50/mo to keep the local
telephone number "just in case" DW decides she wants a cell phone
again. Nowadays, it takes more than cell phone minutes to excite me,
though....
