I have been buying them for over 35 years when one box cost $1.00. Obvious there are going to increase prices and naturally blame it on inflation, being the cause. Now during the Pandemic era, it now pretty scarce to find a box, and if you do, it will cost you $4.63, and mind you this is for the unsalted ones, which was always at least .50 cents cheaper than the regular ones. Of course, now they blame the Pandemic. Anyone want to bet once the Pandemic stage passes, those prices would not come back pre- Pandemic prices. In this period when people are losing jobs, can't pay their rents, buy food and etc. these greedy, selfish companies have to rise prices? Who could afford to? Did it ever occur to them if they lowered prices instead of raising them, more people would buy them cause even through struggling times, they may be able to afford them. By raising the prices, they would lose their customers, like me. The government puts the screws to Landlords, restaurants and the like, why don't they go after these companies that are gauging us

I had to look up what Nabisco premium crackers even are. Why couldn't
you say saltine crackers like normal people do?

Looking at online prices a 16 oz box is $2.16 at Walmart, $2.19 at
meijer, $2.64 at HEB and $2.89 at Target.

$4.63 a box sounds like the corner bodega not a supermarket.

Yes, it's Reddit, so one has to take it with a grain of salt.

Unfortunately, I know from experience that so-called adults - even those over 30 - who truly believe other people should pay their bills, can be utterly brazen once they think they've emotionally trapped their prey.

https://old.reddit.com/r/childfree/comments/lrqugp/the_breeder_horror_story_of_all_horror_stories/

It's a long one - and a doozy.

What's also fascinating is just how frugal and successful this older-millennial is. (She was hoping to retire in her early 40s - and she just may.) I wonder just how frugal millennials usually are.

Two morals to take from this:

Don't sleep with anyone until you REALLY know all the bad secrets he/she might be trying to hide. (Of course, many people don't like to think about that.)

2. Find a way to ask, politely, "how much in debt are you and what are you doing to get out of it?" Again, do so BEFORE getting into bed.

Justin Bieber is the latest celeb to fly out to Wyoming in a
show of support for Kanye West.

The "Sorry" singer paid a visit to pal Kanye West's ranch — aka,
the YZY campus — in the landlocked state Friday, with West
sharing a photo of the Biebs seated beside Damon Dash as they
waxed poetic over the latest YZY innovation.

"DD & JB discussing the new spray foam wall prototypes on the
YZY campus," West tweeted.

The two artists have developed a close bond over the years,
largely supported by their shared faith, as the singer, 26,
previously appeared with West, 43, during his "Sunday Service"
run last year. Dash has also voiced his support for West, whom
wife Kim Kardashian claims is currently suffering from a bipolar
episode.

"People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can
be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves
have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard
family and friends try," she claimed in a lengthy statement
defending her husband.

Unfortunately, West is "refusing" to see his wife, dismissing
her suggestion to fly to Wyoming to be with him. He also isn't
receptive to even discussing his current mental state with
Kardashian, TMZ reports.

Dave Chappelle was one of the first of West's big-name friends
to check on the producer following a disastrous presidential
rally in South Carolina where he openly discussed that he and
Kardashian considered aborting eldest daughter, North.

Fire this lying Democrat whore.

A professor of African and Latin American studies who portrayed
herself as Black has now revealed she has been lying.

Jessica A. Krug, an associate professor at George Washington
University, has written extensively about Africa, Latin America,
the diaspora and identity, all while claiming her own Black and
Latina heritage. But in an article published on Medium.com on
Thursday, Krug revealed the truth: She is white.

"To an escalating degree over my adult life, I have eschewed my
lived experience as a white Jewish child in suburban Kansas City
under various assumed identities within a Blackness that I had
no right to claim: first North African Blackness, then U.S.
rooted Blackness, then Caribbean rooted Bronx Blackness," she
wrote.

Krug acknowledged in her post that she had no right to claim
these identities, saying that "doing so is the very epitome of
violence, of thievery and appropriation, of the myriad ways in
which non-Black people continue to use and abuse Black
identities and cultures."

She apologized for what she calls her "continued appropriation
of a Black Caribbean identity," saying she was wrong, unethical,
immoral, anti-Black and colonial.

"I am not a culture vulture," she wrote. "I am a culture leech."

A student is shocked by the revelation

Anmol Goraya, a junior at George Washington studying
international affairs, says she took an introductory history
class with Krug in spring 2019. At the time, Krug was one of her
favorite professors — Goraya said she seemed like an energetic
woman of color being unapologetic about who she was, coming to
class in heels, huge hoop earrings and even leopard print.

Goraya told CNN that Krug would often champion Black and
indigenous artists, and lectured on topics such as Indigenous
populations in Chile and the role of rice in the African
diaspora.

"From the moment she came into the classroom, I was in awe of
her," Goraya said. "And I'm just shocked that it was such a
complete lie."

Krug told the class she was from the Bronx, an identity she was
proud of, Goraya told CNN. She once even got into an argument
with a student who tried to say rap was invented in Brooklyn.

She would also use a lot of Spanish in her speech. For example,
rather than "plantains" she would always say "plátanos." But the
exact place she was from always changed, Goraya said. She once
spoke about how plantains were important to her family in the
Dominican Republic, but told another student she was from Puerto
Rico, Goraya said. Still, she never would have guessed Krug was
lying.

"It was the last thing on my mind to think she was lying. I
would think I had the details confused," she said.

Krug would also say the N-word when it was in texts the class
was reading, Goraya told CNN.

The university is investigating

Crystal Nosal, a spokesperson for George Washington University,
wrote to CNN that the university is aware of Krug's post and
looking into the situation, but "cannot comment further on
personnel matters."

CNN reached out to Krug for a statement, but did not immediately
receive a reply.

Krug's admission brought to mind the 2015 case of Rachel
Dolezal, another white woman who passed as a Black woman while
teaching Africana studies at Eastern Washington University and
heading her local chapter of the NAACP.

People on Twitter immediately spoke out against Krug, predicting
she would continue taking away opportunities from Black people.

"When Jessica Krug gets her book deal and is on the talk show
circuit, remember this tweet. White women continually harm our
communities and are rewarded for their efforts," wrote organizer
Leslie Mac. "She wrote that whole article and included LITERALLY
ZERO plans to repair the harm she caused - so what was the
purpose of the article? Attention & access - just like her
pretending to a Black Woman was."

Krug received her Ph.D. in 2012 from the University of Wisconsin-
Madison, according to her staff page on George Washington
University's website. She has written extensively for Essence
Magazine, most recently on Aug. 27 for a piece titled "On Puerto
Rico, Blackness, And Being When Nations Aren't Enough." That
piece has since been deleted from Essence's website.

The introduction to her 2018 book, "Fugitive Modernities:
Politics and Identity Outside the State in Kisama, Angola, and
the Americas, c. 1594-Present" — which traces the histories of
communities in Angola — begins with references to those who came
before her, her grandparents and her ancestors. It's now being
held up as one way Krug lied about her identity.

"My grandparents, who gave me the best parts of themselves,
music and movement and storytelling, the inclination to ask and
the soul to listen. My ancestors, unknown, unnamed, who bled
life into a future they had no reason to believe could or should
exist. My brother, the fastest, the smartest, the most charming

The New York Liberty and Seattle Storm made a statement before
tipping off the WNBA season on Saturday.

Both teams left the court during the national anthem as a sign
of peaceful protest and held a 26-second moment of silence for
Breonna Taylor, the 26-year-old black woman who was killed at
her home by Louisville police. Each player also had Taylor's
name on the back of their jerseys.

"We are dedicating this season to Breonna Taylor, an outstanding
EMT who was murdered over 130 days ago in her home," Liberty
player Layshia Clarendon announced at mid-court, alongside Storm
star Breanna Stewart, before the opening tip-off at IMG Academy
in Bradenton, Fla. "Breonna Taylor was dedicated and committed
to uplifting everyone around here. We are also dedicating this
season to 'Say Her Name" campaign, a campaign committed to
saying the names and fighting for justice of black women – black
women are so often forgotten in this fight for justice, who
don't have people marching in the streets for them. We will say
her name. Sandra Bland. Atatiana Jefferson. Dominique Remy
Fells. Breonna Taylor. We will be a voice for the voiceless."

The Liberty donated $25,000 to the African American Policy Forum
and the #SayHerName campaign.

The players' decision to leave during the national anthem comes
on the heels of many MLB players — including the Yankees —
kneeling before the anthem in recent days.

Oklahoma City Thunder players did not heed a lawmaker's threat
about kneeling during the national anthem.

All the Thunder players knelt on Saturday alongside Utah Jazz
players during their NBA bubble debut.

— Eric Walden (@tribjazz) August 1, 2020
The social justice protest arrived a day after an Oklahoma state
lawmaker attempted to pressure Thunder players to his will.

Rep. Sean Roberts (R-Hominy) issued a warning to the Thunder on
Friday threatening to pull tax breaks for the team if players
kneel during the national anthem while citing conspiracy
theories about "Marxism."

Since bubble play started Thursday, players have largely knelt
during the national anthem to protest police brutality and
racial injustice.

Roberts floats 'significant tax benefits'
"If the Oklahoma City Thunder leadership and players follow the
current trend of the NBA by kneeling during the national anthem
prior to Saturday's game, perhaps we need to reexamine the
significant tax benefits the State of Oklahoma granted the
Oklahoma City Thunder organization when they came to Oklahoma,"
Roberts wrote in a statement.

Oklahoma News 4 reached out to the Thunder for a response to
Roberts' threat. As of Friday evening, the Thunder had not
responded.

Thunder guard Chris Paul is the president of the National
Basketball Players Association. He helped negotiate a deal with
the NBA to allow players to wear social justice messaging on
their uniforms during bubble play.

It was a long shot that Paul or any other Thunder players
wouldn't take a knee. Miami Heat forward Meyers Leonard and
Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac were the only players to
decline to take a knee in the bubble through Saturday afternoon.
San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich and assistant Becky
Hammon also declined to take a knee on Friday.

Players have made a point to use their platforms to explain that
as Black men, they fear for their lives and safety in the United
States because of their skin color. Utah Jazz guard Donovan
Mitchell carried a bulletproof vest emblazoned with a list of
victims of police brutality to his news conference Thursday
night to make his point.

The NBA has a rule on its books requiring players to stand for
the anthem. Commissioner Adam Silver vowed on Thursday not to
enforce it "under these unique circumstances."

Roberts: Kneeling will destroy families
Roberts believes the demonstration intends to destroy nuclear
families.

"By kneeling during the playing of the national anthem, the NBA
and its players are showing disrespect to the American flag and
all it stands for," Roberts wrote. "This anti-patriotic act
makes clear the NBA's support of the Black Lives Matter group
and its goal of defunding our nation's police, its ties to
Marxism and its efforts to destroy nuclear families."

Adele continues to showcase her recent weight loss in a new
social media post praising fellow songstress Beyoncé and her
latest visual album, "Black is King."

Seen wearing the same Marine Serre look as Bey, the fresh-faced,
curly-haired diva points to her television while acknowledging
the "Queen" in her Saturday afternoon Instagram post, writing
"Thank you Queen for always making us all feel so loved through
your art ????."

She was first seen post-weight loss transformation at Drake's
birthday party last October. She then attended a Christmas
party, hung out on a beach in Anguilla in January and most
recently modeled her 2016 Chloé dress from Glastonbury,
highlighting just how much she's lost — reportedly 98 lbs — over
the last four years.

Pete Geracimo, a personal trainer who worked with Adele for four
years between 2012 and 2016, called for less judgment of the
newly-lithe mom-of-one on his Instagram page, addressing those
who may have felt "betrayed" by her fitness goals.

"My hope is that people appreciate the hard work that Adele has
done to improve herself for the benefit to her and her family
only," he wrote. "She did not lose weight to make others feel
bad about themselves."

This cunt is even uglier now than she was before, outside AND IN.

Even sadder than the politicized service was the applause from
attendees

Traditionally, funerals are supposed to serve at least three
purposes: honor the life of the deceased, comfort those who
mourn his passing and preach a message about eternity and the
brevity of life.

Tradition was discarded during John Lewis' funeral last week in
Atlanta. Like the memorial service of the late Sen. Paul
Wellstone, Minnesota Democrat, in 2008, the Lewis service was a
political event that included veiled denunciations. There were
allegations of voter suppression by Republicans and a comparison
of President Trump by former President Obama to the late Alabama
governor and segregationist George Wallace.

On that last point, it was Wallace who stood in a schoolhouse
door 1963 in an effort to stop African-Americans from entering
the University of Alabama. Today's Democrats have it reversed.
They are blocking poor kids from escaping failed public schools,
bowing to the desires of teachers' unions that support and
contribute campaign money to Democratic politicians.

Mr. Obama also criticized Mr. Trump for sending federal agents
to Portland, Oregon, to help quell violence that had gone on for
more than 60 days.

Presumably, Mr. Obama would not have been opposed to President
Eisenhower's decision in 1957 to send the 101st Airborne
Division to Little Rock, Arkansas, to protect nine black
students entering Central High School.

Someone should ask the former president if he approved of
President Kennedy's decision on May 21, 1961, to send 300
federal marshals to Montgomery, Alabama, to keep order after
race riots broke out when then-Gov John Patterson said he could
not guarantee the peace.

Mr. Obama apparently ignored another historical event in which
federal forces were used to achieve a civil rights goal. On
Sept. 20, 1962, James Meredith attempted to register as a
student at the University of Mississippi. The entrance was
blocked and rioting erupted. Attorney General Robert Kennedy
sent 500 U.S. Marshals to the school. President Kennedy sent
military police, troops from the Mississippi National Guard and
even U.S. Border Patrol officials.

Is Mr. Obama OK with President Kennedy's decision on June 11,
1963, to federalize Alabama National Guard troops to end then-
Gov. George Wallace's blockade of African-Americans attempting
to enter the University of Alabama?

On March 20, 1965, President Johnson federalized the Alabama
National Guard to protect the civil rights March from Selma to
Montgomery of which John Lewis was a notable part. Mr. Obama
probably favors that decision. A reporter should ask him.

Alabama, Mississippi and Arkansas all had governors at the time
who were Democrats and segregationists and yet today's Democrats
claim Mr. Trump is a racist.

In his "eulogy," Mr. Obama also mentioned mail-in ballots, the
latest effort by Democrats (early voting and no required
identification are other efforts) that many believe could open
the door to voter fraud.

One pastor at the Lewis funeral even reached back to the Reagan
administration and erroneously blamed the 40th president for the
poor housing conditions endured by some African-Americans.

Democrats and their media allies consistently ignore the fact
that Jim Crow Laws, the Ku Klux Klan and other immoralities were
all led by Southern Democrats.

John Lewis' legacy and his brave fight for civil rights will
always remain untarnished. But Lewis was also a partisan
Democrat, who refused to attend President Trump's inauguration
in 2017 and believed to the end that the Russians helped Mr.
Trump beat Hillary Clinton, though that would likely have
required the infiltration of every precinct and voting machine
in America, something not even Lewis claimed was possible.

What was even sadder than the politicized funeral service was
the applause from attendees, who apparently believe every word
that comes from Mr. Obama's mouth, though none of this kind of
talk improves a single life. It makes one wonder why so many
African-Americans continue to be loyal to the Democratic Party.

So, you're telling the world that you MIGHT have Covid, you MIGHT have
given it to (or gotten it from) your roommate, and you still insist on
going out into the public and into a grocery store?!?

Why don't you call your doctor or local health department? Why don't
you shop on line and have food delivered, or ask a friend to get it for you?

I'm glad I don't live near you; but unfortunately I suspect there are
more idiots like you out there...
