Well, he is looking at the big picture. He is paying a combined $39.00
per month for internet and phone. For the same $40.00 (approx) he
can drop the phone service, get 1Mbps DSL for about $19.95, then
switch his phone service to a VoIP service like Phone Power for
about $15.00 to $20.00 per month. His total monthly outlay for
internet and phone is still around $40.00 (or less) per month.
And, he gets better phone and internet service.

Clearly you do not know many Dutchmen. It is an "unofficial nickname"
among the ignorant only.

Check Google. The word "god" appears 621 million times; "Holland" 133
million...

Does that tell you something?

Well, he's trying to dismiss my post based on my statement that
Holland is a country... It should be the Netherlands. So I'm trying to
prove that there's no God either, but his name is still quite popular.

Actually Holland/Netherlands has earned its name by some meritorious
works such as the dams and the bike facilities and God has scored
nothing. His experiment with Adam & Eve went totally wrong...

TM is ignoring your, and that makes you angry. TM knows that long
before you as much as said so here.. He is playing you and doing

that. TM knows that and I know that. Perhaps I should ignore you as

Diversion duly noted. And this has what to do in relation that that
which you responded to or not as the case may be? It is interesting
to note that you obviously consider diverting a topic and going off on
a tangent to resurrect mind-numbimg, monotonous regurgitated old
material as a means to advance the discussion. The conundrum

And you were summarily by Ed Gin just like you are ignored by TM, much

repetitiously resurrected, masticated, regurgitated, tiresome grist.
You are so boringly predictable. Surely you can do better ... then

I throw out all kinds of ideas with every post, but you only know how to do
a couple of things. It is strictly a personal attack mode or else some
long-winded message which no one, not even me, will ever read. Try to get
real. You seem not to have a clue about what Usenet is for. You made the

I mean to step on TM's posts with copy and paste and that is all I ever
intend to do. Tom Sherman I utterly defeated. After all, he has to work at
his fucking job and I have all the time in the world. You can leave any time
you please and I will never miss you.

I am incapable of being made angry or jealous on Usenet, or in real life for

Your biggest mistake is thinking I am in any way like you. Again, as with
TM, it is the difference between night and day!

Seems like I only get a shave a two out of a razor before I need a
need one.

What razors have got better longevity or what tricks can I use to get
more shaves?

Google suggests these:

http://www.goodfella.com/razor_blades.html

http://www.greatrazors.com/

http://personalshaversblog.com/how-to-make-razor-blade-cartridges-last-longer/

Even a decent cheapy disposable would be better than throwing away high
dollar cartridges.

"Cutthroat" straight razor. Been using the same razor and hone since 1977,
or thereabouts, despite assurances from some know-it-all in this NG a few years
back that my maintenance technique (learned from an actual barbering text) was
"wrong".
IME, the disappearance of "Gillette Super Blue" blades in the '70's was the
end of really _sharp_ disposable blades. Stainless steel suitable for mass
processing is too soft to take and/or keep an edge and I got tired of paying
money for nothing. For those times when I just don't feel up to the ritual, I
keep a supply of "Gillette Plus 3" dispozos on hand. It takes two to obtain a
clean shave: By the time I've shaved my throat and about half my face, the
shaver is ready for the trash. I don't have a particularly dense or "tough"
beard.
Sadly, about ten years ago I had to pay an artisan $100.00 to hand make a
shaving brush equivalent to one for which I felt guilty paying $26.00 in the
late '70's. But "frugality" was not the aim and I daresay I'm still ahead of the
game.

I've been using Gillete Fusion for 4-5 years.
Get at least 15-20 shaves a cartridge.
Since I like a close shave that's really closer to 20-30 because I
sort of shave twice. A complete go over, then I wet my face again,
relather and go over any place where I can feel stubble with my
fingers stretching my skin.
I don't get more lather from the can, but use what's left on my
lathering hand, which is enough.
The go over might be why I get a lot of shaves from a blade.
Even if it dulls a bit I get a clean shave the second go around.
I change when I feel the blade grabbing instead of cutting.
When I'm at home, which is most the time, I shave as the last thing
during my bath, sitting up in the tub. Keep a mirror sitting on the
wall faucet handles.
While laying back in the tub soaking up some heat I'll drape the warm
wet washcloth on my face for a while just before I shave.
I use Edge gel and the can floats in the bath, so it's warm.
My dad had an electric shaving cream can heater on his sink for years
before he went to shaving with an electric razor and that worked good.
Started shaving in the bath when I had a back problem and it hurt to
lean over the sink. Never went back.
I think warm cream/gel makes a big difference - when I'm on the road
and use cold gel standing at a mirror I notice more resistance from
the whiskers.
If you ever had a barber shop shave you know about the hot towel.
I'd say my whiskers are "medium" tough and my beard hair density is
likewise "medium" so YMMV.
But I've been using the Fusions longer than any other blade I tried,
so they're working for me.

I went to see this light yet deep comedy to make my girlfriend happy
as well as to learn from such wisdom, and this what I wrote in the
comments on the bulletin board: "You need a lot of concentration to
sit through it. Signed, the Wise Tibetan Monkey." My thoughts were
escaping to these bulletin boards.

To be honest, I saw life in Italy that made sense in their enjoyment
of life, but the toothless guru in Bali was most disappointing. Of
course, in true Hollywood style, she found happiness in Bali, in the
form of a lion who roared his motorboat to escape to a deserted island
with 500 parrots... I wonder what happened next. ;)

Hey, c'mon guys, you don't need Bali, you don't need outboard
motorboat, you don't need a credit card to travel in order to be
happy. All you need is a bicycle, a smart girl and some simple yet
wholesome food, like peanuts and banana.

Very telling though: She's riding her bike in Paradise and this
asshole comes in his stupid Totota 4WD (it had to be Toyota), bruising
her, but also creating the occasion for the affair.

Thanks to the Spirits of the Jungle we have a Wise Tibetan Monkey to
tell it all like it is --without the praying:

"EAT, PHUCK AND BE MERRY"

We don't live in mental masturbation in the jungle.

TM is a poor crazy bastard who just posts on his one favorite subject -
hatred of motor vehicles because they interfere with his use of the roads.
His other favorite subject is attacking Christianity. If you respond to this
poor crazy bastard, then you are a poor crazy bastard too.

He likes to reference monkeys and other wild animals normally found only in
zoos because he is most likely a wild beast himself. I think he fornicates

TM should confine himself to just one thread instead of proliferating them

Regrettably the "local" library that would be likely to have a substantial
music collection is some 65 miles distant in another county. Even were I willing
to make the drive on the chance I'd find what I want, I wouldn't be able to
check it out and I doubt they'd take too kindly to my using their facilities to
purloin content.
I am not just trying to replace specific works but specific performances,
some dating from the '50's and by artists long dead. I'd be pleased to find them
on vinyl -- assuming first-class condition, of course.

Inter-library loan? The distant library sends it to your nearby
library, where you pick it up? Our library allows you to take out 25
CDs at a time. For free. I'm pretty sure they don't care what you do
with them as long as you return them on time and in the same condition.

Humans became bipedal for a reason...

To ride the two pedals.

Seriously, the bicycle is Intelligent Design, but Humans are Stupid
Design --if they were created.

Thus the next step in Evolution is the wheel...

In what promises to be the match of the millennium, the Christians
score a goal in this exciting match between Good and Evil, where we
don't know who's playing who. In Argentina they would shout:
GOOOOOOOOLLLL!!!!!

Across Ground Zero From Mosque Site, Anti-Muslim Venom

The Internet evangelist Bill Keller moved toward the dais in tiny,
quick steps on Sunday, exhibiting the anticipation of a man ready to
address a crowd. Roughly 60 people stood before him in a hotel meeting
room in Lower Manhattan, temporary quarters of his Christian center,
his response to the mosque planned for an empty building nearby.

"If we're going to do something in New York City, we're going to do
something that's not just bold and visible, but something that has a
lasting presence," Mr. Keller said.

I don't know if they are taking bets, but my bet is on the Christians!

Yup. I don't know what planet most of you came from, but if you can't live,
quite comfortably, on MUCH less than $50K a year, then you have serious
issues. I live just fine on less than $12K. And I own my own home, and it's
paid off. Yes, after property, school, and income taxes I only have about
$7K, but that's more than I need. Get over yourselves and your ridiculous
"needs".

Sorry, you are wrong...

"It is both; It's a region in the country the Netherlands and it's the
unofficial nickname for the entire country."

Anyway we are talking unofficially in these groups. My apologies to
the Ambassador of the Netherlands who told me --also unofficially--
that he agrees with me.

I'm curious as to why only stuff Perdue sent to Walmart had possible
contamination.
Perdue sends foods to lots of wholesalers, why was this shipment the
only one in danger.

And, why is this Walmart's fault? They didn't prepare the chicken,
Perdue did.

Have you tried your local library? Most libraries have an extensive
collection of classical music. Our library has a lot more of the older CD's
because budget cuts have limited the purchase of newer CD's. You could at
least make a copy of your favorites until you could locate originals.
