I got a clean installation in xp of the file from here:
<http://eudora.en.softonic.com/download?ex=SWH-1776.1>. Noticed only
one potential gotcha: A prudent person might untick the "premium paid"
(or whatevethehell they call it) option that appears near the end of the
procedure. Be sure to write the file to a CD this time! ;-)

Earlier I tried to DL a Eudora 7 email ap. Google shows lots of sites but
they all - that I tried - send one to the same site. This one tries to
foist off a PDF reader and other stuff. I fooled around for a bit and never
found the DL button just for Eudora. <sigh>

Last time I DLed Eudora 7 for another XP computer several years ago I had
no problems. Guess I'll have to move it from the other computer with a
thumb drive - a DL seemed simpler.

Free software ain't what it used to be.

You know it's time to clean the refrigerator
when something closes the door from the inside.
