- Tv remote control which needs only 1 AA battery - 5 Updates
ggggg9271@gmail.com: Dec 21 10:20PM -0800 I am sick of buying batteries and all the tv remote controls I've seen so far require 2 AA batteries. Could there be one that needs only 1 AA battery out there.....somewhere? |

Doubtful. Even if such a device exists you'll likely have to replace the battery at least twice as often so I don't know what you'd gain. If AA batteries are a budget item for you maybe you should look at the batteries, not the remote. My DirecTV remote controls three devices (TV, Genie DVR, and A/V Receiver) and the two AA batteries in it last a year or more. I only use fresh, brand name batteries, not cheap charlie no-names from the dollar store. |

I've got 4 Duracell precharged for my camera and have been really happy with them. Long ago (maybe 2001 or so) I bought my first rechargeables with a charger on sale. The charger stopped working at some point, so Duracell sent me a gift certificate for a new charger and batteries. When that stopped working Duracell sent me a $$ certificate with which I bought another charger and the 4 precharged batteries. The older batteries don't hold a charge very long, but I use them in my mouse, which is pretty convenient. Duracell has been very good to me, and these batteries have been all that I expected. -- Cheers, Bev $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ "The almost universal access to higher education here in the US has ruined a lot of potentially good manual laborers." -- Bob Hunt |
