- Do not call list - 3 Updates
KenK <invalid@invalid.com>: Dec 05 02:09PM I entered my phone number and email address at the do not call list web site to verify my number is on the list. Two days ago. No response at all. Any one else? I get a lot of telemarketing calls. TIA -- You know it's time to clean the refrigerator when something closes the door from the inside. |

sfisher@panix.com (Stephen Fisher): Dec 05 01:33PM -0700 >I entered my phone number and email address at the do not call list web >site to verify my number is on the list. Two days ago. No response at all. >Any one else? I registered online a while back, but you can also try registering by phone by "calling 1-888-382-1222 from the phone you want to register." >I get a lot of telemarketing calls. I started getting more recently, and a feature my land line phone provider has called "No Solitication" plays a recording telling them to remove my number from their marketing list and stay on the line if they are not a marketer has helped a lot. You can exclude certain numbers from the list and even partial numbers; I entered my state's area codes since all of the annoying calls were from out-of-state and most of my legitimate incoming calls are from this state. |
